08.01.2022 Temporary Closure of Warialda Rocky Dam Rifle Range To Warialda Rocky Dam Rifle Club members and members of the public, ... The Rifle Range is required to meet certain requirements to be approved for use. When these requirements are met an approval number and certification is issued by the Firearms And Safety people. As part of this approval process, neighbouring landholders are approached whose properties are affected by the danger zone for the rifle range. Once these landholders have agreed then the process moves ahead and the approval number is re-issued. The Rifle Range approval is due for renewal. To achieve the renewal this time, it has become necessary to re-zone the range. To maintain the Rifle Range safely, it will be closed for up to 6 weeks from Friday, 5 March 2021. Please note: This is only temporary. The club is not closing. The Range will re-open by the end of April 2021.
