19.01.2022 To end the term, Mrs Pilkington’s Year 7 classes made plastic out of milk. They have been learning about natural and synthetic resources and how we need natural resources to make synthetic ones.

19.01.2022 This morning Adam from Armed For Life came in for his last session with our Year 7's for the year. Adam brought along special guest speaker, Johniepee. Johniepee is an artist, speaker, trainer and carer, who came in to discuss the decisions we make in life and the consequences they have with Adam and our students. ... Johnipee performed a couple of his songs for our students and even had a dance battle.

17.01.2022 Year 9 LEAP students had a Race Around the UWA Campus today as part of the university’s ASPIRE program. Session One was about the mysteries of black holes and galaxies. Students were stunned to learn that it would take 450 million years to reach a black hole! Session Two was an exploration of the rock cycle. Students had to identify the three types of rocks from a selection of samples.

14.01.2022 An early start for our Year 12 Farewell breakfast - our staff cooked them an array of food for them to enjoy as a part of their last hurrah.

13.01.2022 Ms Harkins Year 10 Advanced Technology and Design class have been working hard on designing a floor plan for a house. They had to draw their design on CAD software in 2D design and then used foam modelling board to create a 3D model.

06.01.2022 Ms Harkins Year 7 Wood and Year 8 muster classes theme of the week was persistence, and students were given the task of building the tallest tower using 10 cups and 4 straws. It required a lot of persistence as cups kept falling down, students had to work together to ensure it stayed up. To build on this activity they built a tower with newspaper the following day. The tallest tower that held a ball for 10 seconds won.
