24.01.2022 ALL SECTIONS Normally the group would provide an all night Vigil at Port Kennedy. Unfortunately there will be no official ANZAC Day Dawn Service or March. What I am proposing is youth light a cauldron (or candle) at home and stand vigil...followed by a driveway dawn service as proposed by the RSL.... Let me know if you are keen and we will attempt an online connection of some sort. YIS Rama

16.01.2022 Hi everyone, Scouting starts this year with a group night at the Barn on WEDNESDAY at 6pm and will finish at 730. Looking forward to seeing you all.... Rama

15.01.2022 WSSG is collecting up a bits and pieces to send up to the hospital for these goodie boxes. Every little bit helps make a big difference. You do not have to donate lots, if lots of people donate a little it goes a long way to make a big difference! Example of things they are always in need of are small toys, Lego, books, any arts craft supplies, card games, board games, iTunes vouchers! Pretty much anything kids can do while feeling sick and miserable in a hospital bed!!! ... Bilby will be at the barn on Saturday 11th July 2020 between 12 and 2pm for you to drop off any donations, otherwise please email [email protected] to organise another time. I am happy to try and collect from you or you to drop off at my place if you can't make the barn on the Saturday. Let's put a smile on a lot of kids faces!!

07.01.2022 ALL SECTIONS I hope this post finds you and your family well despite all of the COVID 19 craziness and enthusiastic to restart scouting... To recommence face to face scouting, i would like to invite everyone to come along on Wednseday 22nd July 2020 (Week 1 term 3) for a group night to celebrate our return to the barn for scouting and also to celebrate our group's 25th Birthday with a night of games and fellowship.... Your leaders have been busy planning for your return to section nights and developing COVID 19 action plans for activities in the barn and out in the community. As part of these plans, we are required to conduct thorough cleaning of the Barn between sections and we make a request that this can be completed by parents from each section. We also ask that as part of our return, if you are feeling unwell, please skip your section night that week. We are currently completing the last of the transitioning interviews and we look forward to commencing the new term under the new program. Group fees have been waived for Term 2 and there is a new fee structure coming from Branch in the near future and i will keep you all informed as that progresses. Should you have any questions or require additional information, please contact me. Yours in scouting, Greg Watts WSSG - Group Leader.

01.01.2022 Good evening Scouts, It is with regret that i write to inform you of the immediate cancellation of weekly section nights at Warnbro Sound Scout Group. The effects of COVID 19 and the social distancing measures that are now being put in place are unprecedented in our lifetime. Around the world, Scouts have a long history and we have in place the structures and experience to assist the community and its Scouting families through this time of uncertainty.... I have emailed an update for all youth to provide advice as to how we will continue to scout until things return to normal. The new youth program provides fantastic opportunities for our youth members to control their own scouting journey and the Lone Scout program is designed for such an event as this. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Yours in Scouting Rama Greg Watts Warnbro Sound scout Group - Group Leader
