04.01.2022 COVID- 19 PRACTICE CHANGES As part of the Federal Government and NSW Health recommendations. Warners Bay Vet has implemented several changes to help ensure the safety of our Clients, Pets and Staff. -We ask all Clients to call to make appointments so we are able to control the flow of people within the clinic and help comply with social distancing requirements.... - When booking your appointment the Veterinary Staff will ask a series of questions in relation to your potential exposure to COVID-19 and if you have any cold or flu symptoms. - We are currently operating a 'Locked Door' Veterinary Hospital. This means that when you arrive for you appointment the door will be locked. If you are able to wait patiently a nurse will be with you momentarily to admit you and your pet to the clinic. - We are asking that you minimise the number of people coming with you to the hospital, again to help increase social distancing. - If picking up food or medications we are asking you to call ahead and make a time to minimise your waiting time within the clinic. - We are minimising 'Cash' transactions at the moment to reduce risk of virus transfer. (Cash is still currently accepted but EFTPOS is our preferred payment method) There are a number of other procedures we have enacted within the clinic and behind the scenes to help reduce the risk of virus transmission. We understand that this may cause some disruption to our daily business and we aim to minimise any delays or inconveniences. We will endeavour to keep you updated as the situation evolves. We thank you for your patience and appreciate your support and understanding whilst we all try to do our part in slowing the transmission of COVID-19. From the Team at Warners Bay Vet. P.S.- If there are any questions or concerns please call and speak to one of our friendly staff. (02 4947 1069)
