Thankfully the fire was extinguished prior to fire crews arrival due to the diligence of contractor on site. A timely reminder for all households and businesses to have their solar electrical systems regularly maintained by an accredited electrician.

21.01.2022 It's a scorching day today! If you are heading to Lake Haven to do some Christmas shopping, pop into the Lazy Dayz Kiosk outside Harvey Norman. Get yourself a nice cold drink. While you're at it, you can make a donation to your local volunteer fireys through our new tap n go donation system.

10.01.2022 On behalf of Warnervale Rural Fire Brigade, we would like to express our deepest sympathies to our VRA colleagues and the family of Stephen Grant. Thanks mate, your shift is done now. -----------... About a month ago, we posted a story about our very good friend and colleague Stephen Grant, who has been battling stage 4 glioblastoma since October 2018. It is with great sadness we announce that Steve passed away early Saturday morning. Steve joined the Central Coast Rescue Squad in 2012, and was one of the most active members in squad. Responding at a moments notice to call outs, manning rescue trucks, attending fundraising events, and putting in many, many hours training and helping maintain the rescue vehicles and equipment. In September 2020 at our monthly business meeting, Steve was given Life Member status of the Central Coast Rescue Squad. We would like to send our deep heartfelt condolences to Steve’s friends and family, and especially to Steve’s partner Dale. We would also like to pass on our thanks to the Mark Hughes Foundation, Carrie's Beanies 4 Brain Cancer Foundation for their support, and to the Melbourne Storm for their support and post on Twitter. The Rescue 50 callsign will never be the same without Steve. Rest In Peace

10.01.2022 The support of the communities is greatly appreciated. A big shout out to Gosford Quarries for the fantastic donation of 26 sandstone blocks, 1.3 tonne each to help us build a retaining wall behind the Station.... A big thanks to Kennards Hire for supplying a block lifter for the crane truck, as well as A&K Troy Bobcat and Tipper and Karera Communications for their continued support. It's truly overwhelming when the community is so generous in it's support of our brigade.

09.01.2022 HO HO HO! We have just had the official word from the North Pole. Santa has asked us to be his little helpers and bring Santa around to our local area this year in the lead up to Christmas. He has not provided us the exact dates and times yet, but it is happening! Stay tuned over the coming week for official dates, times and locations.

05.01.2022 Today marks the 7th anniversary of arguably the worst fires this end of the Central Coast has ever seen. Unfortunately since this date we have seen these devastating weather conditions effect many areas around the state. Please, have a plan, practice the plan and stick to the plan! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=995330477147902&id=553968964617391

04.01.2022 Batten down the hatches folks, there's another storm about to roll through! Must be to blow away the rest of the Ford fans who thought they were going to win Bathurst

03.01.2022 Fire Danger Rating for Australia Day VERY HIGH. Have you got a bushfire survival plan in place? Even suburban areas can be at risk. Goto http://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/resources/bush-fire-survival-plan for more information.
