25.01.2022 Anzac Day is an opportunity for Warplanes Pty Ltd to contribute to the nations commemoration of this occasion. This year restricts public gatherings but we hope everyone will still commemorate in their own way on the day as we will do. The Wirraway will be in the air flying by several of our loyal RSL institutions around the SEQ region. The Trojan will also fly in support of one of the most dedicated institutions that commemorates this special occasion - Bargara Remembers I...nc. The Burnett region and the Bundaberg Regional Council are always supportive of Anzac Day but, although this year will see cancellation of the usual services, the districts of Bargara and nearby Elliot Heads and Burnett Heads have been outstanding in their support for a warbird aviation presence in the skies above their monuments and driveways at dawn. So look to the skies from your homes in the Bargara, Elliot and Burnett area and join us in the spirit of Anzac. We are proud to be a part of the national recognition on this special day. See more

23.01.2022 The Warplanes P/L guys (Steve in the Wirraway & Ross in the Trojan) and Dave Crowe in his superb SNJ from Texan P/L got together for some formation flying to commemorate the centenary of Armistice Day. Steve & Dave did flypasts of Samford and Dayboro and continued on to R/V with the Trojan near Gympie for the first 3-ship flypast over the commemoration ceremony in Gympie township. Tewantin cenotaph was the next flypast followed by a coastal transit and a Caboolture commemoration. A big day that made us proud to contribute to such a momentous occasion to salute those who sacrificed so much.

16.01.2022 Yesterday our Wirraway flew as the camera ship for a photographic shoot over Lake Wivenhoe. The featured Spitfire and P-51D Mustang are based at Archerfield airport in Brisbane and are operated by Fighter Pilot Adventure Flights. This stunning image was captured by renowned aviation photographer Mark Greenmantle.

15.01.2022 More Alan Warren magic.

14.01.2022 Its great to see such interest in the photos of our exciting and historic aircraft. Dont forget you can take a flight in them yourself or buy a gift certificate for friends and family to celebrate that special occasion. Warplanes P/L is based in sunny Queensland, just 30 minutes drive from Brisbane Airport, at the Caboolture airfield which has a convenient (covered) function facility right on the field so you can have a BBQ and watch the action while everyone takes their fl...ight. Make a day of it! Its ideal for a corporate function too. Our website www.warplanes.com.au is back online after some IT issues so you can book flights directly from there. We have flexible timings on weekdays or weekends - ever thought of a sunset flight? When you see our aircraft at airshows, take an Adventure Flight and enjoy the thrill of flying in these iconic aircraft!

04.01.2022 Formation take-off Wirraway & SNJ

02.01.2022 A combination of Xmas/NY, aircraft servicing and the dreaded COVID-19 has seen Warplanes activities significantly reduced in recent months with little to report and an empty hangar Both aircraft are expected to return soon and theres hope for some reduced Anzac Day activity this year. We hope our followers are safe and stay interested in our activities as the year progresses and our community restrictions are lifted. The first half year Airshow circuit and other activitie...s such as the Red Radial Tactical Formation Clinic have been shelved so business is slow for now but as soon as things brighten up were ready to go with two wonderful airplanes and a passion to be airborne. Well do our best to keep everyone interested and informed. See more
