21.01.2022 The Warragul ADRA team is planning a Care Centre service. We want to demonstrate our love of God to our community, will you join us? We will open on Wednesdays once the Covid restrictions are lifted. It will work out of the Church on a Wednesday from 10.00am to 3.00pm depending on the activities offered.... We are looking at the following programs to offer our community. Intercessory Prayer for drop in community members Justice of the Peace service Pre-marital counselling by appointment only Play/mothers group Exercise group Stop Smoking program Health program Emergency finance support Letterboxing headquarters If you are interested to know more or would like to volunteer or lead a program in this outreach service; please contact Kat 0423 197 430 and leave your name and contact details. 17.01.2022 REVELATION! Our world is being held for ransom by our fear and disease. Who knew it would be like this; only a few fiction writers thinking they were imagining a world of fantasy? Is it time for you to find out what it is really all about? Not politics not conspiracy.... Are we so stubborn that we wont even find out what might be happening? You are better than that, better than those who follow blindly despite evidence to the contrary. Jesus understood suffering and distress, this is what he said, Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted (Bible, Matthew chapter 5: verse 4) (E.G White; Thoughts From The Mount of Blessing. 08.01.2022 Who is the monarch? Whose country do you inhabit and whose rules do you follow? The do as you feel as long as no one else gets hurt rule or the do as I tell you and show you rule? What’s the difference and who wrote the rules anyway? One set of rules maintains the status quo, the other challenges us to grow and consider more than our own happiness. One is about ourselves, the other; about how we relate to others. Which rule do you follow? Do you say I’m fine; I don’t hurt... anyone else, I’m nice to people and the environment? Is this good enough? What is the outcome of these two philosophies? One says, "this life is all I want; its good enough for me". The other says, "this life is hard and bitter sometimes and I’m worth more than this". God agrees with the second philosophy but if you choose to live by the first he won’t stop you. 07.01.2022 Beginning October, invite your friends to join our exclusive youth Sabbath School class from across Gippsland with guest speakers featuring the InVerse lesson study!

07.01.2022 Warragul Church is now open with some restrictions. Please note below for the most up to date information. Density Quotient: We will be going to 2m/2 density quotient meaning we will have capacity of 56 in the church and at least that in the hall as an overflow venue. Booking: You no longer need to book in to attend church. Just come. Jose will no longer be calling people to book them in. Attendance Recording: We are going to electronic record keeping of attendance. We are s...till working on the final details of this but most likely it will be a simple spreadsheet with attendance noted. We will not be using the Vic Gov QR Code system. Signage: We will measure all Sabbath School rooms and put up signage notifying of the maximum number of people allowed in each room. Adult SS: We will maintain one Adult Sabbath School Class for the moment in the main church sanctuary. Children’s SS: We aim to open all children's Sabbath Schools however please wait for more information on this later in the week. Some Sabbath Schools may open in a few weeks. Cleaning: We will be disinfecting high frequency contact surfaces on each hour Opening time: 10am, No time limit restriction Social Distancing: Our deacon team will be managing attendance in each room. You may be asked to move to a different room if the room is at density quotient. Face masks: will need to be worn in the church unless you have a speaking role Singing: Although singing is allowed, the recommendation is that you are 2m apart while singing. We will not be able to accomplish this with a capacity of 56 in the church so for the moment we will aim to have a small singing group leading singing from the front with music. Let me know if you want to lead out in singing Prayer Meeting: will resume in the church deaconess room and also on zoom Zoom: We aim to maintain our online audience by continuing a zoom Adult Sabbath School Lesson at 10:30am from the studio, (no zoom preliminaries) and live stream the Divine service to zoom, Facebook, and Youtube. 06.01.2022 Do you know what makes a good person? Don’t set yourself up as the standard that others have to live up too. You are not qualified to sit in judgement of others. Yes, maybe you have some overarching principles you try to live by maybe even the 10 commandments of God. So how do you stack up against this measurement? They are outlined in the Bible in Exodus chapter 20 verses 1-17. Or you can see them repeated by Jesus in Matthew chapter 22 verses 37-40 and Luke chapter 10 verse 27. If you really want to get down to the specifics, read Leviticus chapter 19 the whole thing. It speaks about how we can care for each other and lots more about how to respect God.
