17.01.2022 Our beautiful community garden lit up with lanterns on Winterfest night last Saturday. It was a lovely clear night and were so happy to be a part of this winter celebration #nightgarden #communitygarden #lanterns #wintercelebration

16.01.2022 As 2019 draws to a close and we all think about our New Years resolutions for 2020, why not add getting your hands dirty to your resolution list?! Make a habit of popping by the Eastern Park Community Garden, behind Warragul Cty House, for a working bee and a cuppa each Tuesday or on the 1st Saturday of each month. Or just stop by anytime during the week and pull some weeds from our pathways and drop them in the compost bins! #newyearsresolutions #getdirty #communitygarden #w...orkingtogether #foodisfree Byron An Martha, Gail Smith, Yaeli Snaily

16.01.2022 Amazing time lapse from 2010, where someone started with a new NUC (nucleus hive) of 2000 bees and it grew to 30,000! The best part is they used only guiding top strips so you get to see the bees draw down and build natural comb! Our bees at Eastern Park Community Gardens work just as hard, both at producing honey and at pollinating our thriving garden to help keep our delicious fruits and veggies growing strong!... Look out for our hardworking hives behind the white screens in the gardens. Big thanks to Wasiak & Co for sharing. #growingtogether #beeappreciation #sweetrewards #pollinateorperish #beeware

13.01.2022 Its garden day Have you got a spare couple of minutes or even a couple of hours you want to kill today? Come down to the eastern park community garden in Warragul and lend us a hand Anytime from 9:30am onwards. See you there

12.01.2022 Any local security window companies out there who would be willing to donate and install some vandal-proof mesh on our windows? Volunteers spent this morning clearing up broken glass after rocks were thrown through the kitchen window. In the last few weeks weve had the security camera wiring damaged and even our Peace Pole was pulled out of the garden - complete with its concrete base - and dumped on the footy oval. If youre around the garden and see any suspicious activity please call Warragul Police.
