21.01.2022 A long term resident of Park Orchards, Darren Ryding has been a Director on our Board for 14 years. He was drawn to the role when he came to understand the Community Banking Model and that we inject a large amount of our profit straight back into our community every year. Darren is a Fellow of CPA Aus and as such plays an important role as our Treasurer. He is married to Liz, has 2 adult children, enjoys spending time with his family, camping and home improvements. He also enjoys a good documentary. Thank you Darren for all that you do for us.

06.01.2022 Words of Gratitude Both Leesa Pennicott and her young son Harrison are determined to make a difference for people born with Scleroderma, by raising much needed funds for research into the condition. When we told Leesa we would help out by sponsoring the next "Shine Bright Gala" fundraising event she said, "Wow! Amazing thank you so much you have certainly put a huge smile on my face."

06.01.2022 This was the last time our Board of Directors were photographed together.......just over a year ago, at our AGM and Community Investment Program presentation night. We love to celebrate our partnerships at this event and though we were unable to hold it this year it doesn’t take away from the fact we are immensely proud of our capacity to support and deliver great locally driven initiatives and contribute to the prosperity of our community. We've committed $300,000 to projects over the coming year, $3,850,000 since opening in 2003.

05.01.2022 Introducing our Vice Chair Monica. Monica joined our Board 6 years ago out of curiosity! She wanted to know more about how we can invest so much in our community. How could that possibly work?? Well, 6 years later she is still a proud member of our team of volunteers, all local, with a diverse and professional skillset and all willing to give their time because they too are passionate about the model. In her spare time Monica enjoys her veggie plot in the local community garden and catching up with fellow plotters. Pre Covid 19 she was enjoying learning French. Thank you Monica, for all that you do for our organisation and the community!

01.01.2022 Introducing Claire Jones. Claire has lived in Warrandyte for 12 years. In that time she has offered significant time volunteering in the community - toy library, kinder, local schools, Community Fireguard, Run Warrandyte and more recently as a Director on our Board. "Being involved with Run Warrandyte really opened my eyes to the Community Banking model and how it works to benefit our community." Claire said. Having worked in marketing she was keen to see if she could get involved and offer support to our team. Claire loves our community and seeing the projects we support year after year. Thank you Claire for all you do for us and the broader community.
