20.01.2022 Assembly 26 August 2020 Happy News! We are set to host our first Assembly since the start of Covid-19 Wednesday, 26 August 2020 2.00 pm Presenters Grades 5/6H, 5/6A and Grade 4... Dear Parents/Carers Great news! We are finally able to start hosting assemblies again, although we have been given a number of strict guidelines that we must follow to keep everyone safe. It is no longer necessary to socially distance children, however, visitors and staff must adhere to the 1.5 distancing rules. We are also restricted to the number of visitors allowed and forms for contact tracing must also be filled in. An online link will be made available on Monday morning at 8.30 am and will close on Tuesday, 5.00 pm, that will give access to a visitor screening form, or if you do not have internet access, a printed copy will be available in the office. A separate form is required to be filled out for each member of the family group attending, including children. Although it seems complicated, the form is straight forward and easy to fill out. If you come into the office to fill in a form, staff will be available to assist. It is important to understand that this is our first Assembly since the pandemic and therefore an evolving plan, so I ask for your patience and understanding. Numbers allowed will be dependent on family configurations. Family groups can sit together, but will be socially distanced from other family groups. The number of family groups applying to attend will determine the number of parents/visitors we can allow into the hall. The classes presenting at the Assembly are 5/6H, 5/6A and Grade 4. I understand how eager parents/carers will be to attend the Assembly, however, as numbers permitted will be limited, may I gently ask that if you do not have a student in one of the presenting grades, you consider not attending, allowing for those parents/carers who do have a student in a grade presenting, the first opportunity to attend. I am sure that over the coming weeks, our Assembly routines will become smoother and more normal as we navigate our way through this pandemic. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact the office on 6244 1747. Kind regards Sarah Hoban Principal

06.01.2022 Warrane School Carpark Firstly, thank you to each and every parent/carer during the drop-off and pick-up times. Your patience and cooperation has been amazing. As there is a large volume of cars entering and leaving the carpark during those times, to keep the traffic flowing, please park in a vacant spot and do not double park if you need to wait for your child.... Just a gentle reminder also to parents/carers to keep the disabled parking spaces free. We do have parents who need to use those spots. Thanks again for your consideration and support!!
05.01.2022 Drop into the Warrane Community Garden and pick up some plants for your veggie garden. We're here until I pm.
