17.01.2022 Tennis NSW is pleased to announce further changes will be implemented by the NSW Government from 1 June and as such, Tennis NSW has updated the Community Play G...uidelines accordingly. Updates to the Guidelines include: Clubhouses re-opening Lifting of restrictions on coaching ratios All of the collective actions in the past few weeks have led us to a point whereby we are able to resume our sport far quicker than what many of us had envisaged a month ago. Thank you for your support and assistance. **Note that we are still awaiting the final Public Health Orders, so these published Guidelines may be subject to small changes and revisions once these are released. 16.01.2022 Doubles Round Robin Tournament - Sunday 18th April 2021: We're excited to confirm that our friend Ken Wray will be organising a Doubles Round Robin Tournament (with prizes) to be held at the Warren and District Tennis Club on the last Sunday of school holidays. Time: Start 1pm approximately 4pm finish.... Cost: $10 per person. Who: Open to everyone. Players can enter as a pair or as an individual and will be matched with a partner. 16.01.2022 Term 3 Monday Night Doubles Competition: After a little hiatus in the Monday night competition, we're excited to be able to start up again in Term 3. Play will commence on Monday 20th July and run for 10 weeks up until Monday 21 September. If there is anyone who would like to join as either a player or a sub, PLEASE let us know by no later than Friday 17 July so that we can finalise the draw :)

10.01.2022 Congratulations to team Santa- Joseph Marks, JC Maligaya (subbing for Israel Maligaya), Jessie Joya and Jeric Lumdang on their tie breaker victory over team Tinsel- Conrad Markgraff (subbing for Janet Blishen), Markus Markgraff, Brent Barwick and Andrew Brewer (subbing for Trevor Wilson). We hope that everyone has an enjoyable break and we will see you all next year.

09.01.2022 Milton and I were lucky enough to catch up with Ken and Wilma earlier this year when we travelled to the Australian Open on a P&O cruise.. A very gracious lady who will be very sadly missed. Condolences to Ken and family. Jenny.

09.01.2022 Updates to the Community Tennis Guidelines for Continued Play July 2 The NSW Government has issued a new Public Health Order (PHO), in which it has given spe...cific directions in relation to community sporting activities. This includes Community sporting activities (including training sessions) involving more than 20 participants, the organiser conducting those activities in must be in accordance with an appropriate COVID-19 Safety Plan; Participants include players, people who are training, officials and spectators The maximum number of participants at a community sporting event must not exceed 500 The Government maintains its direction that occupiers of premises must ensure that there is at least 4 square metres of space for each person on the premises. 07.01.2022 Term 2 Monday Night Tennis Grand Final After the last round of the Term 2 competition, the top two teams on points are Brady and Medvedev! Team Brady is Brent Barwick, Annie Cant, Jane Brewer and Conrad Markgraaff; Team Medvedev is Nathan Bell, Kira-Lee Tyrrell, Rebecca Christian and Jo Hooper.... These teams will be playing each other in the grand final on Monday 21st June (note that there is no tennis on the long weekend Monday) and all other members are invited to come along for some social tennis. A BBQ dinner will also be available ($5 per person payable on the night) and PLEASE remember to organise your own sub if you are unable to play

A massive shout out also to our FWAS families who supported the Roadshow and JDS tournament and to all of our tennis athletes - you were amazing The icing on the cake, was the success of the JDS Tournament at the Warren Tennis courts on Sunday which saw some of our athletes take home a few trophies!
