In a wonderful decision by the federal government, they have decided to extend the Home Builder Grant until 31st March 2021 Great news for those who weren’t quite ready to sign up before 31st Dec 2020. However the following alterations have been made: Grant reduces from $25,000 to $15,000 Contract must be signed between 1/1/2021 and 31/03/2021... You have until 14/04/2021 to submit your application (including those that are eligible for the $25k) Extension from 3 month commencement to 6 months (including the $25k grants) If you thought you were going to miss out......you have some more time now !! 08.01.2022 While there has been a tremendous reply to the federal and state government’s building grants ensuring many trades and suppliers keep their jobs and have work secured for many months to come, not everyone has been able to access these funds and perhaps this six month window didn’t suit a lot of people. Qld Master Builders, Housing Industry Association, Urban Development Institute, and Property Council of Australia have joined forces to request the government extend the grants and change the conditions of the grant What do you think ??
