25.01.2022 Serenity. 150cmx125cm. Commissioned painting just finished for one of my clients. She’s overjoyed, so am I , this one was a bit out of my comfort zone but I got there in the end.

21.01.2022 It’s here, now! My first time participating #noosaopenstudios. Opened on Friday and runs till next Sunday 18th October. It’s just an amazing experience and a networking opportunity par excellence. On top of making sales it is a crucially important event putting artists on the map and most importantly artists receiving affirmation to their vocation. All welcome , come and meet the artists of the Noosa Art community in their studios.

20.01.2022 20 years of dried paint layers on my bench. It was getting a little uneven and paint pots were falling over so I levelled it with an electric plane. It appears I have layers , I think I will nail it to the studio wall as a reminder of my complexities.

Trees are friends of mine and they talk to me, and I talk back. usually I’m just saying thank you. Sounds pretty normal right? I guess the common experience this is when you are near a very old tree and you just want to go up and touch it for some reason.

06.01.2022 Just finished this one for PeteandKim Woodhouse for their brand new digs. A surreal take on the native Banksia’s that grow everywhere around here. When the flowers seed they are the favourite snack of the Black Cockatoos that live nearby. Size. 1.8m x 1.3m acrylic & oil on canvas.

01.01.2022 Latest commission. This pair are part of a larger job I’m currently doing. Needed something strong dramatic and different for the entrance foyer of this home. Titled Corriong fire stick farmers. Translated, Corriong is the name for Philip Island by the Bunwurrung people, a tip of the hat to an ancient and sustainable eco land management technology now lost.
