20.01.2022 This morning we celebrated our amazing support staff. Warrigal Road State School is a fabulous school because everyone plays a vital role. A special mention to our staff celebrating 10, 15, 20, 25 and even 30 years at Warrigal Road. Thank you to all of our support staff, we appreciate everything that you do!! 15.01.2022 The district has made the decision to cancel Gala Day tomorrow due to forecasted rain for this afternoon and tomorrow. The next Gala Day will be in week 3, with the make-up day being week 4. Tomorrow will be a normal school day.

15.01.2022 Junior Sports Day Update

14.01.2022 The school will look very different on Monday. The new building is about to start and theres no easy way to say short term pain for long term gain. Teachers will share impact with the Year 2&3 students on Monday morning. It is exciting though! Lots to come for Warrigal Road State School! Exciting times.

02.01.2022 CASUAL POSITION VACANT A casual position exists for a School Crossing Supervisor at Warrigal Road State School. The hours of work for the School Crossing Supervisor may be up to an Hour and a Half on any school day in all weather conditions.... Commencement of work for the successful applicant is dependent on: The favourable outcome of a health assessment carried out by a duly qualified Medical Practitioner according to the guidelines in the Notes for Medical Practitioner on the School Crossing Supervisor Scheme - Health Assessment Form; The applicant either hold a current Blue Card or having submitted an application for a Blue Card to the Commission for Blue Card Services. An applicant will not be employed by the Department of Transport and Main Roads unless they meet this criterion. Department of Transport of Main Roads will organise and fund both Medical and Blue Card for selected applicant. Application packs are available from Warrigal Road State School. Completed applications should be returned to Ros at [email protected] by Wednesday 9th December 2020.
