01.01.2022 Last week, #Warrigal Queanbeyan resident Ted offered to put together one of our wheelchairs. He mentioned that this is something he enjoys doing and wouldn't mind helping fix other items as he has the tools for it. So, our staff looked for a way to safely allow him to use his knowledge and skills for this meaningful task. Under the supervision of our Physiotherapist, Ted adjusted the foot plates, tightened the wheels, fixed the user brakes and hand brakes and tightened all th...e screws. Our Maintenance Team will complete a quality check before we use the wheelchair but we’ve been told that he did an amazing job putting it together! Well done Ted, and thank you! #hereforgood
