23.01.2022 It's Mother's Day tomorrow so how about coming down to Warrina to get your Mum a Book Voucher or choose a book for her before 2pm today. My Fill-A-Bag Book Sale is still on so you can fill a plastic shopping bag with selected books for only $12 or choose Thunderbox, a book of poems written by local bush poet Graham Rushworth or The Sugar-Bag Baby by local author Norah Kersh. There's a great atmosphere down here today. Live music, the best coffee in Townsville at Otto's Fresh Food Market & beautiful gifts & flowers for Mum from the amazing locally owned & run shops.

19.01.2022 Warrina Ice Rink is officially reopening permanently on Saturday September 3rd! To celebrate we are holding a come and try day on Saturday and Sunday (3rd and 4...th). Each session will run for 30 minutes between 9am and 4pm, and the cost being a gold coin donation towards charity. Tobogganing will be running at the normal price of 6 slides for $5. We will also be holding a disco night session on Saturday from 7pm to 10pm. This session will be at a regular price of $18 per person. More details will be announced closer to the date.

09.01.2022 Warrina Book Exchange is MOVING. Yes it's official...we are moving to Shop 9, 260-262 Charters Towers Road, Hermit Park. Our new neighbours will be The Cat's Meow Cafe, The Laptop Man, Lifeline, Cardmill, Concord Tax, Sugah Doll Boutique & Foundation Podiatry. Our move will take place over the last weekend of October & first week of November. There will be some disruption to service but hope you will bear with us during the transition to our new & bigger shop.... We will also be having a new name....watch this space!
