20.01.2022 Deep Force sales pic. Thanks to Matt Tillet for pushing me into him and congrats to Tony McEvoy and team for getting him to this stage.

19.01.2022 We are off to the Inglis Premier Sale with two very strong offerings. After a few weeks skiing in Canada Bob was out at Oaklands today in the 37C heat. He had great empathy with the horses struggling with the weather and the gusting north wind. Lot 265 is a Kermadec Lawmaker ( Henny Hughes) colt. He is a very nice brown colt (on the left below)who walks impressively, like his mum. Kermadec has done a great job with his first crop and this bloke has all the looks of the best ...Kermadec's. Millford have him in their draft and Jarrod and Richard would be happy to tell you all about him. The bay is a colt by More Than Ready out of Miss Marion (Success Express) and he is a half to the Cox Plate winner Pinker Pinker. The families form iis current with Kapajack and Above and Beyond both recent city winners in Sydney. This boy is in the Vinery draft and go see Adam White who can tell you all you need to know about him. He is Lot 319. This is the first Miss Marion since Pinker that we have offered for sale and he is a rare chance to get into that pedigree. Both are offered for sale on Monday and we will be out at the complex if you have any questions. See more

18.01.2022 It is time for an update. I guess our big news in recent months has been the performance of two Kapala geldings on the track. Firstly Kapajack (Lohnro) won two benchmark 78 races in succession at Rosehill and will now embark on a program that targets the Magic Millions. Secondly Deep Force (Deep Field) won his first start at Morphetville in a Benchmark 64 2 year old race. He looks set to progress through the Spring into the 3 year old city races. The performance of Kapajack a...nd the mail on Deep Force led to the sale of Kapala's Kermadec colt to same ownership interests that own the Sydney galloper. We chose to sell Kapala and her new owners have her in foal to Deep Field. We wish them well with that foal . Other recent winners include Denman More Glory who races in Hong Kong as Tornado Twist, Miss Rendina Sebring who races as Above and Beyond won a mid week in Sydney and Graskop Domesday who races as Pequina Colina won her maiden at Moe. In other news we have retired Miss Marion and she will see out her days on Vinery and help out as a Nanny Mare. Thanks to Vinery and we look forward to how her dynasty unfolds. We have down - sized to get some cash into the business and sold our mares Lawmaker, Gigas and Miss Rendina. We still retain two yearlings which are being prepared for sale follwing trials. Graskop Pride of Dubai is with Mel O'Gorman and he is in training now. She likes the way his covers the ground and he looks a precocious type. Miss Marion More Than Ready went to rehab with Ben Mason who did a terrific job and he is now with Adrian Corboy for his breaking in. Adrian is very happy with him and next week he goes to David Hayes for preparation for sale into Hong Kong. If every egg is a bird with these two we will be back on the map and rearing to go to the sales next year. We are taking 5 for sale and all are doing well at this stage and are correct horses. We have two horses that we have produced that are looking especially good at this stage. Graskop Pierro filly and Panda's Turn Dissident colt. We also have nice horses in Lacerta Cable Bay filly , Wendover Choisir filly and Miss Rendina Winning Rupert filly. See more

11.01.2022 Saddened to learn yesterday that Kapajack (Lohnro Kapala) broke down at training this week and unfortunately had to be euthanized. Our thoughts go out to his owners and all the connections. He was a beautiful foal and we were very proud to have bred him and watched his racing with great interest. Who could forget his first run!!! Some of his owners bought the half by Kermadec and we wish them the best of luck with him. Pic below of Kapajack in his yearling prep.

05.01.2022 Over the last few days we have been very encouraged by the way our horses are developing and behaving at the sales. The hot north winds are very disruptive to the horses and both our boys are doing well. Vinery and Millford are doing a great job for us and the horses improvement is a credit to them. The level of improvement should encourage buyers to think that they will both respond to training preps and the interest is strong. I liked the changes to the sales complex. A much improved atmosphere has resulted. So into tomorrow with fingers crossed that we find buyers for the both. I am really confident in both horses and tat their buyers will be rewarded.
