What made you make the choice to workout/train with Warrior Dads ? : Referral from a friend 2. What were you doing prior to training? :Occasionally going to the gym 2. What was your lifestyle like and what is it like now that you have started training? : Lifestyle has changed slightly feel like I have more energy 3. How do you feel about yourself now you have been training with Warrior Dads Perth? : Feel fitter and get motivated to do so by others around me. This works better for me than the gym that I hardly used. 4. What do you want to get out of your training? Is it for looking good in the mirror ? Is it just to feel fitter and healthier ? 15.01.2022 Many men may say, I dont have a problem. Im great. Then they go workout for five hours. Woah ! Hang on a minute did I get your attention? Good, because there is often so much talk about the female body image. But what about the male body image?... How do todays standards in our society affect males and how they feel about themselves? When we look at what images our society puts out in the movies - 300, Superman, Spartacus, and Pompeii - what do we see? Men with only five percent body fat, ripped to shreds, and representing an unsustainable way of living. In recent years there has been research that the number of men seeking treatment for body-image dissatisfaction has increased. Traditionally, a males role in society has been clearly defined. The ideal man offered strength through security. Today, it seems men feel the need to display strength, security, and masculinity through physical appearance. The statistics are alarming - male body-image dissatisfaction has tripled in the last 25 years, from 15% of the population to 45%. Many males may be wondering where to draw a line in the sand. Well, those are questions that only you can answer. Some things to think about are: Do you go to the gym because you are overly self-conscious about your body ? Do you not exercise because you are embarrassed that you have let yourself go and what others such as loved ones, family or friends may think of you and not for overall fitness and health? Do you spend several hours in the gym or workout multiple times per day? Do you always think you are fat, skinny, or not the ideal male? 06.01.2022 Getting a workout in focusing just on my core with friends and fellow trainers and of course my fiancé has been a highlight off my week thus far for the last 2 weeks. Focusing just on core can reap huge benefits when working out. Whether it be bigger lifts in the gym or better performances during your WODs, core workouts are extremely important in developing your body for optimal performance.... There are many ways to work your core apart from the usual crunches and sit-ups. Find what works for you and dont neglect your core take at least 20 - 30 mins for your workout and experiment with timings and always vary the exercises. By varying the exercises and timings this will keep your body guessing whats coming allowing you to be ready for the unknown and the unexpected. A strong and functional core can be the difference between a good workout or an amazing workout. How do you train your core ?

When the blokes of #Warriordadsperth join forces with the woman of #mumsonamission to encourage each other, push each other, learn from each other and challenge each other. No ego, no BS just down right get in, get it done, what makes it extra special is none of them compare themselves to each other.... Everyone has their own, slightly different, reasons to why they train. I know they got into health and fitness not just to lose weight or build muscle but to feel good and have more energy to accomplish their dreams, spend time with their kids, having clarity of mind and master their bodies.
