23.01.2022 We are heading out after tomorrow to spend a few days with my early life mentor and friend, John Juvy Matten and his beautiful wife Eileen. It coming up nearly... 50 years of our wonderful friendship. I Can’t think of a better place to be in the Southwest WA (Molloy Island, Manjimup, Margaret River, Busselton, Yallingup and Mandurah) over this hot period. I will be Catching up with Neil and Annette Irvine, Greg and Lisa Thompson and many others. Sorry if I miss you. Can’t wait to get on the road with the family. Katie has purchased a new boogey board today to catch a wave.

21.01.2022 Known as The Luckiest Man Alive. The Longest Night. Left wounded laying amongst the VC Enemy Bunker System for 16 hours, went though a full on US bombing raid..., but was lucky enough to drag himself and his mate under a burnt out tank. Injected himself and another digger with morphine and shoved field over his mates mouth so the enemy 50m away couldn’t hear the Aussie’s crying out in pain. When the Company swept through next morning the first thing that came out of Vic’s mouth was, have you got a Durrie mate. (Cigarette). Talk about bravery. Made me proud and join the Army. Victor OTWAY, (RIP) passed away in Geraldton last year. A wonderful person but he was never the same after this contact or incident. A career soldier but it all caught up with him in later years. RIP Vic.

19.01.2022 Day 1 of the #25pushupchallenge. I will be conducting 25 push-ups for 25 days to help raise awareness for things such as PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder),... anxiety and depression that drive people to commit suicide. I was nominated by Jeff Watts The rules are simple: *Once you are nominated your 25 days starts the following day. *Everyday you record yourself doing 25 push-ups even if you have to drop to your knees to get 25 *Every day you must nominate a different person. Let's reach as many people as possible.Let's hope by doing this we can build awareness for anyone who is suffering from a mental illness, you are not alone and we are here for you. Don't be afraid to speak out!!! #SUICIDEAWARENESS

02.01.2022 Have been very busy this morning in Maddington organising Warrior Racing Shirts,Caps and certificates for number 11 and 12, Friends of our charity Warrior Ra...cing Limited, Australian Homeless Veterans and Blue Guardians. Today I met with Tara Farmer, ex WAPol, who is technical the number 1 and 2 Friends of Warrior Racing Ticket holders. Ticket certificate 1-10 has been reserved for our Patrons, Ambassadors and walk Volunteers. I had a great conversation with Tara today, a knowledgeable pleasant young lady.
