16.01.2022 WHY LOSING BODY FAT COMES TO A HALT WHEN EATING LOW CALORIES. Have you ever seen someone who eats copious amounts of food, yet they stay reletivley slim? Or the complete opposite...someone who eats little yet struggles to lose weight? The reason for this is due to a hormone known as Leptin which is naturally produced by the body to release fat into the body as energy. However this hormone is controlled by the amount of food you eat and the type of food. ... When you go really low in calories to lose body fat the body will co-operate for a while but eventually fat loss will slow down. The bodies main purpose is to survive and in case of starvation the body aims to store as much fat as possible when calories are low. However when calories are high the body creates plenty of Leptin to support fatloss though when your overconsuming, fatloss will not be achieved. So then what are you supposed to do to combat this? And how can you produce higher levels of Leptin to ensure fat is being used for fuel to support your fatloss goals? I'll make a video on this soon... Stay tuned.
