08.01.2022 Yoga has truly started to work it’s transformative magic when your Yoga (poses) are getting smaller rather than bigger. Maybe it was the promise of flexibilit...y, the craving for movement, the goal of the bigger fancier poses that got us in the door & onto the mat. It definitely makes us feel great! ~ ~ However it’s not until the sensitivity and subtleness in mastering micro-movements in the body, the breath (energy) and its flow, the mind and it’s stable landing place, does the practice show us it has an immensely transformative power. Some of the most revered Yogis have never nailed their Chaturanga or a Handstand, some never even an Asana. But they HAVE nailed their mind! ~ ~ The poses are preparation in getting to know one’s Self and getting started on our Yoga journey. ~ ~ Self-reflection & study is the key. My wish is for every one to experience this Yoga. It will outlast your body in old age. It will support you through trauma. 07.01.2022 TIME is the most precious gift we can give ourselves. ~ ~ We are all pouring our energy out in so many different directions, so much on our plates. It’s easy to feel exhausted and depleted. ~ ~ But what if it’s not about reducing what we do and how much we give? That’s a full and blessed life isn’t it? It’s what feeds our Souls to be in service to others. ~... ~ What if all we had to do was REMEMBER. To receive from the loving souls around us. To feel so blessed for all that we have and for those who love us. To notice the amazing gifts in our experiences and guiding light in ‘those’ moments. To breathe in & fill back up. Just to remember. It takes time. What have we to give if we forget to feel complete? ~ This is my why for Yoga. Whether it be an asana play on the mat, morning meditation, a cuppa on the balcony and doing of no-thing...so precious. To simply BE.
