25.01.2022 ABC South West Victoria visited the COMMUNITY GARDEN MARKET Have you been down to Warrnambool's Community Garden recently? Being able to eat something that was picked today and grown just down the road is a bit of a treat we get to enjoy living in the country. It's nice to know who made your cheese, and who baked your bread!... Each Wednesday evening in summer you'll find local growers, bread-makers, cheese-makers, performers and food vans down there. For newcomers, the Community Garden is on Grieve Street near the Warrnambool Racing Club.

03.01.2022 Pampas lily of the valley (Salpichroa origanifolia) is an innocuous looking weed on our site. But then it climbs into trees and puts on so much biomass it starts to break limbs. It spreads by seed and underground rhizome. It persists in all but the hottest compost.
