20.01.2022 "I’d say to anyone if you want to be involved in the game, you might not be the greatest player but that doesn’t matter. There’s still a role and a part for you... to play in this wonderful game, and coaching is certainly an opportunity for you to do that" It was fantastic to have QAS Mentor Coach Rae Dower in attendance at last week's female-only MiniRoos coaching course with Gold Coast United FC players. Six more MiniRoos coaching courses are scheduled for the last week of August. Find an upcoming coaching course bit.ly/CoachCourse

14.01.2022 Great news for Wolves! A big thank you to Warrnambool City Council for providing the Community Development Fund. It’s been a very difficult year for the Club and this funding is very welcome news indeed.

11.01.2022 MINIROO'S: Unfortunately our Miniroo goals will not be seeing any action during stage 3 lockdown. Wolves are committed to honoring the remaining x11 sessions owed to the parents and players. Please keep an eye out news in 6W time. Many thanks - Rob Beavan (Miniroo's Co-ordinator)

10.01.2022 What an amazing ride they’ve given us. Western United’s season comes to an end but what an incredible first season they’ve had. We’re so appreciative of the commitment that they’ve made to Clubs in the West. They’ve given us so much enjoyment this year and we can’t wait for 2021. Thank you

10.01.2022 As the A-League Finals kick off this weekend, today’s Flashback Friday is from a scorching hot day in Ballarat where we watched Western United in action. We wish Western United all the best as they take on Brisbane Roar at 6pm this Sunday.

10.01.2022 Last nights AGM also provided us with an opportunity to present the Best Clubperson Award for 2020 to Natasha Cummings. In what has been an extremely challenging year, Natasha restructured our Junior set up and was a key driver in our Covid-19 response. The structure that Natasha has given to our Juniors will benefit not just the players, but all volunteers across the Junior Program for years to come. As is often the case at Wolves, Natasha was ably assisted by her family. T...hank you Phil, Oscar & Julian. Congratulations Tash Photo: Mark Witte

08.01.2022 Today is Wear It Purple Day! It is a day about celebrating and supporting young LGBTIQA+ people, and challenging societal attitudes to help shape a better world for us all to live in.

08.01.2022 More good news! This time courtesy of the State Government

06.01.2022 A nice message for our members from Max Burgess before Western United begin their finals campaign. Good luck Western United, you’ve had a great first season. Can they go all the way?

05.01.2022 South West Sport has made a call to postpone the November 2020 South West Games event until next year. South West Sport CEO, Mike Neoh, said ... "Given the unc...ertainty around the transition between restriction levels and the lead in time needed to plan, we will be postponing the 2020 South West Games until 2021. As a significant annual event (continuous for 3 decades), like many other cancelled major events, it was a difficult but correct decision. As an organisation that promotes ‘well-being’, the community's health is our priority. Our sponsors, partners and clubs (that registered initial interest) have been extremely supportive and fully endorse the decision that was made in the best interest of the community. South West Sport continues to deliver its other programs to support sport with club development activities and we also continue to actively encourage individuals to undertake regular exercise within the COVID guidelines".

04.01.2022 Congratulations to Wolves legend Carlos del Rio who has just been appointed Senior Coach at FC Leopold.

02.01.2022 Could it happen? Warrnambool is a great place to live.
