24.01.2022 Hope you can all make it to this years "Day at the Lake". Kicking off at noon at Lake Pertobe - markets, music, foods and bevvies. Its a wonderful community day for every member of the family. In the market area we have some wonderful stalls joining us - exquisite henna tattoos, candles, scrunchies, chiropractor on site, trike tours, candles, clothing, hats, lotions and potions, arty linen, sweet treats, dressings and oils, jewellery, phone covers and that is just a few. Also come see our local aerialists performing. Hope you can make it.

Not only is there wonderful music, foods and bevvies you can also enjoy the market and the car display AND a great movie at 2pm and again at 4pm. 23.01.2022 The very LAST SUMMER NIGHT MARKET. Can you believe it? Start the long weekend off with a bang. A super family friendly event - with something for everyone. We have magnificent new stalls joining us this week. Not to mention our highly regarded foods and bevvies. Get yourself down to Lake a Pertobe Friday evening 4.30 through till 8.30. ... Musically we have Eddie & the Exciters to rock your socks off. And in the paddle boat area we have a magical line up on the Youth Stage: Angela & Keelan, Hudson Buckle, the incredible voice of Gabby Steele, followed up by The Sisters (amazing) then the finale is Snakes Dont Need Keys. Phew!! We also have the incredible aerial troupe joining us again. This evening is not to be missed. Weather: who would know - throw a jacket and your sunscreen in See you there. 08.01.2022 Can you believe it - its already the 2nd last Summer Night Market. Great line up this week. We are almost to capacity for stalls with some fabulous and interesting ones jumping on board to join us. Warrnambools Lake Pertobe comes alive. This Friday. 4.30 till 8.30. Dont miss this. Musically we have the brilliant Cooper Lower - you just have to see this - wonderful. On the Youth stage we have amazing talents such as Gabby Steele & Lou Ryan, Angela & Keelan, Flynn Gurry..., The Sisters then the Youth Showcase Session features Tess & Melody, Caitlin & Cody along with Monique Brown. Wowsers. All the amazing foods AND we are family friendly so bring your crew along and enjoy everything that is on offer. Happy Days. Oh and did we mention we will have an aerialist troupe performing throughout the evening....yes you read right. Buckets will be near the music stages for you to throw a coin in if you wish to support the fire appeals.

04.01.2022 Another amazing night last week. Third week coming up. NOTE: We are trying to raise much needed cash for bushfire affected communities. The Warrnambool City Council have generously said we can deposit our Lake Pertobe rental money for the week directly into the fundraising effort which is wonderful. Golden Buckets will be situated near the music stages and if you can see your way clear to throw in a dollar or two that would be fabulous. ... Musically we have the most fabulous Lynne Moloney and the Teachers Pets. On the Paddle Boat Stage we have a treat for you in the form of our returning Youth Stage. Enjoy Gabby Steele Flynn Gurry and Hudson Buckle. Then from 7.50pm we have something new: A Youth Showcase Session featuring Tess & Melody along with Monique Brown. Loads of spectacular stalls to browse, meet the makers and chat too. And our foods are magnificent. Entree, mains and desserts. Yes yes and yes. Lake Pertobe This Friday 4.30 through till 8.30

03.01.2022 What a night. First of 5. Amazing. This week we do it again. Musically we have the wonderful Eddy Boyle and the Exciters on board with a whole lot of toe tapping music along with amazing music by Tom Richardson - incredible talent on show this coming Friday. Bring a rug and soak it all in. ... Stalls galore again this week with lots of great quality different ones joining in the fun. Food glorious food - have you tried to Japanese sweet treats or the extraordinary chocolate treats - oh my.....sooooo good. Seek them out. Dinner, browsing and entertainment, done right! This Friday 4.30pm through till 8.30pm. Glorious Lake Pertobe. Parking is tricky. Try parking at the Little Aths, Cannon Hill or Flagstaff Hill.

01.01.2022 We are so lucky to be joined by a highly regarded Vietnamese food artist this week. Celebrating the eve of the Lunar New Year. Lake Pertobe this Friday evening 4:30 8:30 pm (3 X 45 minute demonstrations) Simon Le is an artist for Fruit & Vegetable Carving and 3D Jelly Cake Art, a chef cook currently based in Melbourne.... After starting his cooking experience for different five star luxury hotels 15 years ago in Viet Nam, he developed his outstanding skills in Vietnamese tradition of Fruit & Vegetable Carving and achieved the second prize of Fruit & Vegetable Carving Competition in Vietnam. In 2011, Simon joined DONGARA HOTEL MOTEL in Western Australia as a chef and quickly became an indispensable asset for the organization. In the early 2019, Simon came back to Vietnam to expand his skills on 3D Jelly Cake Carving Art. He won two consolation prizes given to potential artists in the Malaysia International Competition. Fruit & Vegetable Carving and Jelly Cake Art have been developed as a crucial part of Vietnamese cultural heritage and a viable mechanism for the conservation of Vietnamese identity worldwide. Therefore, Simon wishes to introduce such an art to the diverse population and communities in Australia.

01.01.2022 Quick note: There is only two more Summer Night Markets to go. We are not doing the last Friday night in January as it clashes with Warrnambools wonderful Wunta Festival. We will have a fab market as part of the Wunta Day at the Lake on Sunday February 2nd.
