Key points Cody takes from the talk: - Perception is Based on a Best Guess - Perception is Based on Many Inputs, Some from the Outside World, Many if Not More are Internal - Perception isn’t Passively Experienced, but Actively Created Pain is a conscious experience and therefore if you want to understand pain, you need to know a thing or two (or three!) about consciousness and perception. 11.01.2022 Nice, simple, relatively easy to understand description of what stage three holds for us! Importantly, the exercise part. Please don’t stop moving, walking, golfing, surfing, riding, whatever! Keep it up for your body and your mind! You can exercise with a friend, great for motivation on cold winters days and great for keeping you sane too. Take care, think about how lucky we are to be in this amazing place to be outdoors, and we’ll all be on the other side soon!

04.01.2022 NEW BLOG ALERT Tennis elbow is a common elbow tendon injury (tendinopathy) affecting up to 50% of amateur tennis players, however it is also common in office ...workers and the trades with repetitive wrist and arm work. Pain is located in the outside of the elbow and will likely be aggravated by gripping, opening jars and using the wrist and arm. Treatment needs to be individualised but includes managing and modifying the loads put on the elbow, strengthening not only the wrist and elbow but the shoulder and kinetic chain and making any required modifications to technique and biomechanics such as backhand technique in tennis or computer set up in the office.
