24.01.2022 With Regional Victoria entering the Second Step towards COVID Normal, our playgrounds are now able to reopen. From today, we’ll have crews inspecting each play...ground before reopening them, starting with Lake Pertobe as the first priority. This process will take some time, and we’ll be taking the playground closed signs down as we go so you’ll know which playgrounds are now open. Please maintain social distance as much as possible and ensure you maintain safe hygiene practices before and after using playgrounds, the skate park and other open space facilities. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, get tested straight away. 23.01.2022 Given the unprecedented situation us, as Australians, are facing, I feel it is important to follow the guidelines set out by Playgroup Victoria and close our Playgroup doors for the next 4 weeks. This is an ever changing situation but I shall endeavour to keep everyone updated as and when I receive relevant information to reopen. 17.01.2022 CHRISTMAS BREAK UP WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! LOTS OF FUN AND LOTS OF SMILES. A BIG THANKYOU TO ALL PARENTS/CARERS FOR THEIR HELP THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. ALL THE BEST TO OUR LITTLE GRADUATES AND WISH THEM ALL THE BEST IN THE NEXT CHAPTER OF THEIR LIVES.

12.01.2022 Due to coronavirus, Playgroup is still closed until further notice!

12.01.2022 By the end of June, the children of Warrnambool should have three brand-new playgrounds to enjoy New playgrounds are being built at Mahogany Gardens in South ...Warrnambool, Pappas Drive in Dennington and Victoria Park in West Warrnambool. Here you can see the playgrounds at Mahogany Gardens and Pappas Drive under construction. You can also check out the concept images to give you an idea of what all three playgrounds will look like when they're done. The new facilities utilise funds made available through a variation to the Victorian Government rate cap. All funds raised via the rate cap have been used to renew footpaths and playgrounds, with other projects funded in 2019/2020 including paths at Cannon Hill, Russells Creek, St James Park, Pertobe Road and Gateway Road.

05.01.2022 NEEDED URGENTLY WARNAMBOOL PLAYGROUP COMMITTEE TO KEEP PLAYGROUP RUNNING Warrnambool Playgroup is seeking a committee to keep its playgroup operating. Some of the duties include planning and running weekly sessions during school terms, general maintenance, ensuring a safe environment, reporting to Playgroup Victoria when necessary, ensuring there is a good and happy atmosphere at each session and some behind the scenes paperwork. I am more than happy to pass on all the infor...mation that is needed and can be contacted at any time for further assistance. It is by all means not a stressful role and can be done at your leisure. Warrnambool Playgroup has been operating since the 1970's and it would be such a shame if it was to close its doors. For further information about the positions and duties involved feel free to inbox. The time has come for me to stand down as role of President due to my youngest child attending Kindergarten next year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has contributed to our Playgroup over the past few years.
