23.01.2022 The Band Hall has been quietly enduring through Lockdowns 1 and 2.0, but the Band have not been sitting idly by! Thanks to our magnificent Musical Director, Sonia, we have been enjoying online rehearsals from the comfort of our very own homes. We hear the different strands of each piece through Sonia's renditions on keyboard, and play along ourselves. Sometimes, one of our members steps up and unmutes to let us hear their part and get used to blending with them instead. Th...e lucky ones with multiple members in the house get to hear extra parts all the time! In addition, our Committee have come to the party with social events including Kahoot!, skribbl.io, general quizzes, and even an online concert for members and families to keep the Band having fun together. We even occasionally try some non-standard instruments... like pens!
20.01.2022 would love to thank Warrnambool City Council for their generous Community Development Fund grant, which will help us purchase some less-commonly played and owned instruments to help our members branch out! More to come on this...

13.01.2022 Fantastic debut performance by our new Warrnambool City Brass Ensemble at Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village Warrnambool yesterday - trying conditions in the wind up on the hill, but the Garrison and audience were very happy! Looking forward to seeing this new ensemble develop.
