24.01.2022 BEGA - YOU BEAUTY!!! A special surprise this week with the donation by generous Bega Koroit staff of over 1.2 tonnes of donated groceries. With our recent growth and expansion this food will not only support local families but reach out to the far corners of our region - at the heart of our food relief workThank you all so much!!

21.01.2022 EXPLOSIVE 2020 STATISTICS!! At year's end we have provided over 5000 Food Hampers to 2600 families... some13,700 people. That's around 50,000 meals to people in need. Our Christmas giving saw over 250 Christmas Hampers go out (100 more than last year) A HUGE thanks to our amazing VOLUNTEERS and to the ever generous Warrnambool community... you all made a lot of people happy and joyous this Christmas

20.01.2022 BAGS OF JOY! Thank you Warrnambool & District Baptist Church parish for holding your 2nd successful community food drive for Food Share. Over 1.6 tonnes of grocery donations from generous Warnamboolians were received. What a boost in these busy times of high demand. THANK YOU ALL

18.01.2022 FOODSHARE FOOD HUB ANNOUNCEMENT Today the Victorian State Government announced that Warrnambool & District FoodShare will become one of 5 new Regional Food Relief Hubs. This appointment is an exciting and challenging opportunity for us to expand our regional support to smaller towns and places that do not have access to food relief.

14.01.2022 VITAL GOVERNMENT SUPPORT TO FOODSHARE. Vital support from the state government has helped us upgrade important infrastructure equipment. We have a new van and pallet lifter.. Collectively your generous donations, valued volunteer time, caring hearts and big smiles have helped us make a huge difference to those doing it tough in the South West. We have now closed for Christmas and will reopen on January 4th 2021 We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you again in the New Year.

11.01.2022 TRADIES SHOWPIECE Our special thanks to local trade craftsmen at Peter Fleming Plaster, Geoff Couch Electrical and Pat Kavanagh Plumbing, Our new suspended ceiling in the warehouse will be a terrific asset to us all. New lighting, tiling and fully insulated, this ceiling will alleviate the cold, the heat and the noise in our warehouse. Our volunteers are ecstatic. This was made possible through State Government support.

04.01.2022 FOODSHARE STATS FOR TUESDAY 22ND DECEMBER !! 987kg of food donated in !! 1700kg of food sent out !!!!! .......That’s SIXTY hampers, chock a block with Christmas goodies, sent out to a total of 209 people and 50 families.....just today. ... Sarah, Gayle and Claire from the Coles Warrnambool crew delivered 30 special Coles Christmas boxes weighing nearly a quarter of a tonne. Jay from Elite Spray Seal & Asphalt had to bring in the work trailer to deliver his EPIC donation of 190 kg . Big smiles from our support agencies as they pick up their Christmas hamper orders. Vinnies Victoria Warrnambool Branch South West Healthcare Aged Persons Mental Health Service. And to ‘wrap’ the day up - Tim from Commonwealth Bank paid a visit to the warehouse to donate - and got challenged by Dedy to a wrapping paper sword duel Wooooo, what a day
