25.01.2022 Just a reminder that we do not hold toys. We do not have capacity to offer this service. We have a huge range of toys so rest assured you’ll always find something when you visit. If you know what you are looking for, ask our committee member on duty and they can help you locate or let you know when it’s due back.

17.01.2022 We were thrilled to finally add our new Grimm's toys to the toy library this week - two new rainbows and a rainbow accessory set with semis, boards and friends that works well with the rainbows, any block set you have or in small world play too. All three sets are ready to borrow tomorrow. Just a reminder- we do not place toys on reserve or 'on hold' . This keeps the toy library fair for everyone. We have over 1,000 toys in our collection so if the toy you were after is currently on loan, there is sure to be something else your child will love.

If you have toys you would like to pass onto us, please keep them aside for now. Do not leave them at the toy library door. 15.01.2022 As part of Toy Libraries Australia COVIDsafe plan, all members are required to thoroughly clean toys prior to returning. We’ll have a cleaning station at the toy library but preference is you clean at home given you only have 15 mins to return , browse and borrow

13.01.2022 Good Evening, We would like to inform you all our Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday September 30th at 8pm. The meeting will be held online. ... Anyone who is interested is welcome to join us. Please let us know in the comments below or via private message if you would like to attend.

13.01.2022 We are all ready to go for tomorrow morning. ***PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE ATTENDING OUR SESSION TOMORROW*** Please only attend the session if you have booked an appointment. ... If you have an appointment but you, or a member of your household, are unwell then please do not come to the toy library. Please sanitise hands when you enter the toy library and practice physical distancing once inside. In keeping with current guidelines from the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services, we encourage all adults attending the toy library to wear a mask. If possible- please don't bring children to the toy library. If you do have to bring children, please don't allow them to play with any toys you are not borrowing. We have tried to remove toys from the floor that may encourage them to play. We all love having a play at the toy library but it just isn't possible at the moment. We have made the decision to remove all costumes from the toy library at this stage. You may notice changes to a number of other sets as well. Our Barbie vehicles are still available to loan but without any dolls. Fabric bedding has been removed from our doll cots and beds. Toys with fabric parts that cannot be washed will be placed in quarantine once they are returned. Some sets have had pieces removed to avoid quarantine to keep as many toys as possible on the shelves or on loan. The toy library is very full at the moment ( you can help us fix that by borrowing lots of toys this week!). Some larger toys, such as our pikler triangles, have been placed in storage so if you can't see the toy you were after, please ask a committee member. Further information about cleaning toys before returning them will be posted soon.

10.01.2022 The Warrnambool Toy Library is temporarily closed, following the recent announcements regarding Victoria's State of Disaster and the return to Stage Three restrictions for regional Victoria. We will not be running a session on Wednesday. Toys currently on loan are not due back until we reopen. ... Memberships will be placed on pause at this time. Stay safe and we hope to see you all again soon.

10.01.2022 We are so excited to welcome some of our members back to the toy library this evening! Please make sure all toys have been thoroughly cleaned and dried before they are dropped off tonight- big toys like Gus love a soapy wash down and soak in the sun. If you have noticed your toys are missing parts please write the toy code and parts missing on a Post It note or similar and attach it to the outside of the box. ... Remember no children are currently allowed in the toy library so please don't bring yours with you. Please be mindful of social distancing as you enter and exit the toy library, as well as whilst inside. We are so looking forward to seeing you all again.

07.01.2022 Exciting news, the Warrnambool Toy Library will be open for borrowing again from July 15th. There will be some changes to how sessions run, importantly you will need to book an appointment time to visit us. This will ensure we comply with our covid-safe plan by limiting numbers in the library and ensuring physical distancing. Appointment times are available as of now. If you need your mibase login emailed, please contact us. ... If you are interested in becoming a member please contact us ahead of turning up at the toy library. We look forward to seeing you all soon and will share more details in the lead up to opening on how we will be operating to keep everyone safe.

06.01.2022 Only two more days until we finally open up again! We have been hard at work getting everything ready to operate safely. You cannot attend a session without booking an appointment time first- there are plenty of times left for Wednesday so please book a spot if you would like to borrow some toys this week.

We cannot reopen the toy library until we have had all toys returned and quarantined. Please tag your friends who are members, share this post and help us spread the word- we need your help with this so we can move on to the next stage of reopening. Thank you

06.01.2022 We want to thank our fabulous members for a very smooth return session last night. Thank you all for being on time and respecting physical distancing rules....you rock! Saturday 19th December We are closed over the Christmas / New year period and will reopen on Saturday 9th January 2021 Book in now! So many new toys are about to hit the shelf!!
