24.01.2022 We've just sent out a media release to most outlets giving an update on the digital marketing campaign to date andplans for the final stage of the project !
22.01.2022 The committee will be meeting shortly to roll out our marketing outside the region. Now we've informed the local community and have our bluetooth devices and podcasts working Ok we can inform travellers along the Newell Highway and those coming from the South and North.
22.01.2022 BlueTooth Advertising is a new generational advertisement and information transmitting marketing system. it can send promotional and advertising messages,business cards, event notifications to the mobile phones and all other Bluetooth-enabled devices automatically .You can provide your customers with news,special offers, flyers, discount coupons, multimedia files, java games and other types of media. If end users allow receipt, any kind of media format can be sent to their devices.

12.01.2022 We are getting some great feedback from the bluetooth units. Just had a call from a traveller who got 10 messages in 15 minutes whilst having his coffee in Coonamble so suggested we change the parameters and send less files
10.01.2022 All our visitor centres across the region now have the Zip drives loaded with podcasts and brochures !
08.01.2022 For those who are interested in the technical info we are using the BT-Pusher Pro with a range of around 100-200 metres. We purchased five of these units from China. They are 13cm x 16 cm x 2.5cm and weigh 580gms. Can deal with both Class I and II bluetooth and can handle 28 simultaneous connections. Updating can be via USB, WIFI, Network or GPRS !

05.01.2022 We've loaded several more podcasts to the Warrumbungle Wired web site and now have our first video up there (thank you BOSWEB)
02.01.2022 The Narrabri blutooth device is situated in the Visitor Information Centre
01.01.2022 and we've just reduced the number of files being sent from the device located in the main street of Coonamble after complaints. For those interested in the technical side of things we have also reset the send interval from 10 seconds to 90 seconds and the maximum reject count from 4 to 2. We'll shortly be trialling sending video and audio files and will let you know how that goes
