18.01.2022 A successful opening night at Baradine with guests from Moore Park Highschool Sydney and locals from the Baradine community. Students from Baradine Central school shared interpretive Dreamtime stories about the stars which gave a lovely insight into indigenous astronomy. Donna Marie Burton gave a fabulous talk on ‘What we cannot see’ with the naked eye and how cameras and telescopes can give us so many other opportunities. The Exhibition pieces and digital display of all t...he entries showed exactly that... capturing the delights of our night skies in full splendour... views and colours we don’t see with the naked eye. #capturethecosmos #warrumbungleDarkSkyPark #IDA #astrophotography #Baradine
