25.01.2022 Practice is still on tomorrow! We are aware of changes to directions from QLD GOVT regarding covid restrictions of public gatherings. We will continue to monitor the situation. We have spoken to the relevant authorities this morning for confirmation that as at now this direction does not affect sporting events.... 12.01.2022 So we kinda did a little thing this weekend, or a rather BIG thing to be exact....... We worked our butts off & turned the whole track around in the other direction! Yep that's right, Warwick is now running in reverse!! Hundreds of loads of dirt & sand dug & carted, jumps all reshaped & built up. Sooo many hours in the heat. We still have some small things to finish off but are super thrilled with the result! We cannot express our gratitude enough to our hard worki...ng crew. These guys are legends: Delangen, Gustafson, Williams, Baker, King & Bischof families. Loki Lee, Chris Balint, Luke Miles, Sam MacNellie, Phil Siebel - THANK YOU! 09.01.2022 URGENT- STOLEN We are extremely saddened to post that our brand new Yamaha Viking has been stolen. It is disgusting that anyone could break into a club run solely by volunteers & steal such valuable equipment that we have worked so very hard for. If anyone knows anything or hears anything at all please speak up. Someone knows something!!... It's not just about getting in a truck or driving a machine there's always something to be done so if you can lend a hand we will find a job for you. Thanks to those who have offered so far. 03.01.2022 Our AGM was held last night and we are happy to announce our Committee remains unchanged heading into 2021. Thank you to Loki, Matthew, Karen & Sarah for their willingness to continue in their roles. Also some exciting news just in!!! We have been successful with a grant application to construct shade over our start gates and marshalling yards! ... * Financial support has been provided by the Australian Government to WDDBC to erect shade structures over start gates/marshalling yard, which contribute to the upgrading of this community facility space. *This project has been supported by the Southern Downs Regional Council
