08.01.2022 Our Warwick Hospital staff arrived at work to find 14 Stars of Hope with handwritten messages lining the front of the hospital. The messages were of ho...pe, faith and love, from members of the Warwick community. It brought smiles to the faces of our staff, who are working hard on the frontlines to look after the Warwick community. We are thankful for this kind and beautiful gesture, and proud to serve all of our communities. #weareinthistogether #thankful

06.01.2022 Isolation! Struggling with the current isolation? There is one who understands better than any other. His name is Jesus. Centuries before he came into this wo...rld, the prophet Isaiah spoke of his isolation and rejection: He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their face he was despised, and we held him in low esteem (Isaiah 53:3). Why? Why did he submit himself to this painful isolation and rejection? Isaiah goes on to say that he would be pierced for our transgressionscrushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace [would be] him, and by his wounds we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). But I wonder whether that might have also been how Jesuss disciples ...felt the day after his crucifixion. What a dark and terrifying day that must have been. Everything they had come to be sure about was now turned upside down. Could their world ever be the same again? In John 20 we read that these disciples were so fearful they locked themselves behind doors. Yes, their world would never be the same again, not just because of that devastating Good Friday but because Sunday was coming. This crazy season may well change our world forever. But, your life can be changed forever if you surrender your life to this Jesus who was "crucified according to the Scriptures [who was] buried, [and] raised on the third day according to the Scriptures " (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
