25.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE: At this stage, we will gather as normal tomorrow 23rd August, following all social distancing and personal hygiene recommendations. As we are operating under the Industry Specific COVID Safe Plan for Places of Worship, we are following the information in the link from QLD Health, that says, at time of posting, "These limited do not apply to businesses operating under a COVID Safe plan".... Please know that we are monitoring this "moving target". As more details trickle through, we will communicate updates if things change. If you are at more vulnerable or unsure, for your own safety and piece of mind, please stay home and log onto the livestream on Facebook or YouTube... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_ZwDALP3TrVKiA6lycixww Please stay safe. Pray for those affected by these changes. God Bless Chris https://www.qld.gov.au//current-sta/urgent-covid-19-update

08.01.2022 Jesus went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: The Spirit of the Lord is on me, ... because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lords favor. Luke 4:16-19 NIV

06.01.2022 Isolation! Struggling with the current isolation? There is one who understands better than any other. His name is Jesus. Centuries before he came into this wo...rld, the prophet Isaiah spoke of his isolation and rejection: He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their face he was despised, and we held him in low esteem (Isaiah 53:3). Why? Why did he submit himself to this painful isolation and rejection? Isaiah goes on to say that he would be pierced for our transgressionscrushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace [would be] him, and by his wounds we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). He gave his life to bring us out of the darkness and isolation of our sin and to bring us back into perfect life and relationship with the God who made us. Embrace the gift of his life today! For all who will do so, he has promised, I will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Today, you need not feel isolated or alone! See more

03.01.2022 Our world has been turned upside down! Thats how many of us must be feeling at this time. But I wonder whether that might have also been how Jesuss disciples ...felt the day after his crucifixion. What a dark and terrifying day that must have been. Everything they had come to be sure about was now turned upside down. Could their world ever be the same again? In John 20 we read that these disciples were so fearful they locked themselves behind doors. Yes, their world would never be the same again, not just because of that devastating Good Friday but because Sunday was coming. This crazy season may well change our world forever. But, your life can be changed forever if you surrender your life to this Jesus who was "crucified according to the Scriptures [who was] buried, [and] raised on the third day according to the Scriptures " (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). 02.01.2022 "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them." Lest we forget

01.01.2022 Happy Chappy Week! Remember to thank a School Chaplain when you see them! They have found isolation extra-difficult!

01.01.2022 Its easy to make excuses that we dont have time to spend with God. But the truth is we have time for what we choose to have time for. Lets schedule our time ...around what matters most. "Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore lifes distractions. Watch where youre going! Stick to the path of truth, and the road will be safe and smooth before you." -Proverbs 4:25 See more

01.01.2022 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21 NLT
