25.01.2022 22-29 May - Under Eights Week 2020. This years theme is Play, Playfulness, Engaged Learners. At Kindy we have chosen to celebrate the importance of books in the lives of young Children. Children can come dressed up as their favourite book character. See attached flyers for more information on individual groups.

Today however Lady Gowrie Qld acknowledges and celebrates the innovation..., creativity and dedication of the Teaching staff of Lady Gowrie Community Kindergartens, for the Continued Learning Program at home which they have provided to over 4500 children across Queensland in the past three weeks. We also thank children and families for their engagement, participation and taking the journey with us. We thank and acknowledge the Qld Government for supporting the continued operation of Kindergartens in Queensland.

All other students will continue to learn at home. If low transmission rates continue, students in Years 2 10 will return to school from Monday 25 May. 05.01.2022 A REMINDER for all 2020 FAMILIES: Please check your email for an update on TERM 2 arrangements. Lady Gowrie QLD have provided the following update: ... "Community kindergartens will follow schools and move to a home-based learning model from 20 April until at least 22 May 2020. During this period, all children who are able to be supervised at home and learn from home are to stay home, except for vulnerable students and children of essential workers. (Essential worker means any worker who must continue to attend their workplace for essential business.) While this decision to operate under a home-based learning model will apply for at least the first five weeks of Term 2, a further decision will be made regarding the second half of Term 2 by mid-May."
