With many hands making light work, the more people we get, the less time we will be working and more time will be spent in our karts.... 21.01.2022 Our Christmas meeting is coming up and it's the last one for the year. If you are staying for the dinner (ALL welcome) you need to pre purchase your ticket via the Team App. No late tickets will be sold. Get in at the early bird price of $35 Adults and $15 Juniors/Cadets. It will be a fun night filled with lots of laughs. 20.01.2022 Announcement from Karting Australia TAG 125 AND TAG 125 RESTRICTED PARITY WEIGHT ADJUSTMENT... During the past 12 months, there has been significant discussion from the karting industry and some competitors regarding the parity between engines in the TaG 125 and TaG 125 Restricted Classes. The data obtained from the recently introduced electronic Scrutineering Records, when matched with the official results from official timing system have provided Karting Australia with the ability to better assess the parity within these Classes. Based on our analysis of this data, we believe that parity adjustments are warranted for both TaG 125 and TaG 125 Restricted Classes. Parity Adjustments - Effective October 23, 2020 TaG 125 Restricted 3kg reduction to the combined Driver and Kart weight for all engines OTHER than the Rotax 125 engine. 19.01.2022 Update on new KA practice rules moving forward for our club: - A level 4 official must be present at ALL practice sessions to monitor practice for that day. We encourage EVERYONE to do the short KA Online Officials Course and apply for their Blue Card which will give you this qualification. You won't be able to practice unless there is someone present that has the above accreditation. - You must book you practice online 48HRS prior to your session at www.warwickkartclub.com....au/pay Everyone including spectators will need tickets, so there will be free support tickets available. Please purchase a ticket for each person that will be attending with you. There will be no last minute bookings taken outside this 48hr period. - You will then need to fill in the Social Karting Form via the QR code (below) prior to attending the track. This needs to be done prior to going to each track. These forms will need to be shown to the practice monitor before going on the track. - You will then be granted access via our Blue Tooth Gate Lock. This access is ONLY for you and your car not driver trainers, friends or family. Each car entering the facility MUST have their own access. If you haven't yet set up your gate lock app, please get in touch and we will set it up for you. This applies to ALL members and non-members. - Private track hire is still available, however you MUST have your own Public Liability Insurance and provide a copy to us at time of booking. Otherwise private track hire is still available adhering to the above KA rules. Practice bookings will be open for this weekend by 4pm this afternoon. 19.01.2022 BIG thank you to Barrie Mendelson and Jim Fritz for heading to the track on the weekend. They did a general tidy up and Jim installed some new LED lights in the pits. Without members like these guys our club doesn't tick so a HUGE thank you for taking time out of your busy weekend to help the club out. It's very much appreciated.

13.01.2022 SAVE THE DATE Due to Karting Australia's confirmation of AKC and it clashing with our Christmas Meeting and presentation night, the committee have decided to move our original date of December 5 to December 12th. This is so our members (and non members) who are racing AKC don't miss out and can still come and join in the fun. More details to come however we can tell you the following:... 07.01.2022 Well what a weekend we had with 104 drivers make the trip over the hill for our 4SS Triple Crown and Vintage display. A big thank you to all our volunteers as without you we can't go racing. We had some new faces which was great to see so thank you your help is very much appreciated. We hope you all had a wonderful weekend and hope to have the vintage and 4SS drivers back again in November. Unfortunately there were some things out of our control which caused the meeting to r...un later than usual and we apologise for that. SAVE THE DATE for our November 7 & 8 Noisy Tour event which will see all classes race: - Qualifying for every class - Two day meeting (meaning an earlier finish on the Sunday) - Double direction (one direction Sat & reverse the next) - Same $75 entry fee - Social evening Sat night - Lots of laughs and fun Keep an eye out for when entries open as you don't want to miss our last official race for the year.

06.01.2022 COVID DECLARATIONS Please remember ALL drivers AND pit crew are required to have Covid Declarations done prior to the race meeting. Any spectators that are coming can scan in at the gate on the day. Best practice is once you have entered get your Covid Decs and Scrutineering Forms done straight away that way you are confirmed for racing. Without these completed by close of nominations your entry won't be accepted.

03.01.2022 CHRISTMAS RACE MEET Due to a variety of reasons our Christmas Race Meet is now back to its original date being December 5. Entries will be open soon for our Saturday fun race meeting - reverse direction, short track. It's going to be fast and it's going fun. Following this will be our dinner and presentation evening. ALL ARE WELCOME. You DO NOT need to be a member to attend. Phil will be cooking up a storm, the grid will be lit up, music to dance the night away and lots of la...ughs. Will we see you there?
