23.01.2022 We have a few technical hitches with our results today. We are working to fix the issue and hope to have the results up later today.
19.01.2022 Your Warwick parkrun Event team are all jumping for joy at parkrun's return on 28th November. To welcome you all back, we will be filling all the volunteer roles so you can enjoy your parkrun.
15.01.2022 As we get closer to recommencing parkrun in Qld, now is the time to find your barcodes. Please keep an eye out here for any updates. Hopefully it won't be too much longer before we are all enjoying our Saturday morning parkrun fix.
14.01.2022 1 sleep to go...... A couple of things to keep us safe and allow us to enjoy parkrun again. Please wash/sanitise your hands before and after parkrun ... Please check in via our QR code or the website www.parkrun.com/trace/NPP before coming or scan the laminated QR codes on the picnic benches. You can add others to your check in if they don't have the ability to scan in. Please be mindful of social distancing before and after parkrun. We will no longer be using the stopwatch or barcode scanner. All timing and scanning will be done via the parkrun Virtual Volunteer app. You can download this for free from your app store. We want to avoid lines for barcode scanning. If you are a fast finisher and see a line up, please feel free to do some barcode scanning on your phone.. you will also earn a volunteer credit. Each week the Run Director will have the volunteer roster book. Please see him/her to put your name down to volunteer, or email/message us.
14.01.2022 We are really excited to have parkrun restarting on 28th November. Please make sure you are registered, bring your barcode with you and are familiar with the participant code as shown here.
13.01.2022 parkrun. It’s like riding a bike - you never forget how to do it! Proof of that was the wonderful turnout of participants we had for the resumption of Warwick parkrun, all keen to hit the course again after this long break. Even more pleasing was the solid number of first timers we had. Hopefully you all enjoyed the morning, and will be back to challenge your times next Saturday. And the following one. Yes, it is that addictive! Now as you can imagine, after such a long... break, and with the introduction of a few procedural changes, some minor issues have arisen, and I believe there could be slight errors with the times from about position seven onward. If you feel your time is incorrect, let me know, and I will try to sort it out. Speaking of procedural changes, nominating for volunteer positions is one area we will do things slightly differently from now on. If you wish to volunteer, please speak with the run director on the day, who will write your name in the book. Alternatively, send a message via the facebook page, and you will be included that way. We need a full compliment of vollies for each week, so don’t be shy. All jobs are easy, and if you’ve never done them before, we will show you on the day. Each week, we will have several QR codes displayed around the table, and dog park fence, that allow you to sign in to the event. However, if you are a person who does not bring your phone to parkrun, you can also do this before or after the event at home. It was identified this morning that there are several obstacles around the new start line area, so this will be changed for next Saturday, with the startline going back to where it used to be. If anyone has a bicycle with an accurate odometer, please contact us, as we would like to double check the course length at the same time. Photos should be up later today, so keep an eye out for them. Ok everyone, enjoy the weekend, and try to stay cool. See you back next Saturday. Jeff. (R.D.)

10.01.2022 Dust those barcodes off! parkrun will be restarting at all Qld parkruns on 28th November! When events reopen they will be required to display a unique QR code for contact tracing and all participants will be encouraged to sign in. This system is currently operating successfully in NZ and ACT.
