24.01.2022 Gosh, it's a busy little day today. If you're scheduled for a rooms appointment, please minimise your companions to 1 - minors excluded of course. Please be patient with the girls as there are a lot of people coming in and out today so you may have to wait for attendance. ... If you're booked for a telephone appointment, please too be patient and know he will call you as soon as possible. As always, if the phone goes to voicemail, leave us a message, we do return all calls as soon as possible. There are no face-to-face appointments available tomorrow but existing patients are welcome to call the rooms for urgent matters. We will not be accepting any new patients on Christmas Eve. Our existing clientele are also able to use Hotdocs to book appointments for the New Year. I'll update the urgent after hours and covid testing arrangements for our Christmas closure tomorrow.

17.01.2022 From the 1st October if you have a TELEHEALTH appointment you will be required to collect any requests such as scripts, pathology, radiology or specialist referrals from the rooms. As always, this is at the discretion of the GP. We are returning to more face-to-face scheduling. As a solo-GP practice we have zero redundancy so illness is our enemy, we thank you for your consideration to the health and wellbeing of our staff and community. We continue to take temperatures on ...arrival. Unfortunately we cannot admit you into the building with a high temp. We continue to wear a mask and we request you do the same, we will provide one if you don't have one of your own. The doors may be locked, please knock and wait for us. We are trying to limit the number of people inside the building and sometimes are attending to others and cannot step out immediately. Please knock again if you feel we haven't heard you but we promise to attend to you ASAP.

Can I please ask you review your script supplies and referral end-dates and contact the rooms to arrange any necessary appointments. Please do that ASAP as we're filling up quickly and will not have many emergency appointments available each day.

10.01.2022 End of Term 3! We made it - just! We've heard a few positive announcements today... Telehealth item numbers have been approved for another 6 months. We expect the limitations will remain the same, meaning you must have seen your GP for a face-to-face consult on the last 12 months ... Another day of 0 cases in our community We've had many positive remarks and feedback for Denisa, our on-site collector from 4Cyte Pathology. I can personally attest for her gentle hands, she certainly is a 'great bleeder' Happy Holidays!

08.01.2022 I don't think any of us are surprised to see the Premier taking a hard stance with border restrictions. I expect we will see stricter measures introduced over the coming days. We have a lot of people from our WRM Community who were excited to be seeing their loved ones this Christmas and they're all going to be feeling utterly heartbroken by this outbreak down south. Just when we thought we could let our hair down a little, we're reminded of how lucky we've been so far and ...how quickly this virus moves. Stay vigilant, keep your distance and get tested and isolate if you have any symptoms. 2020 will not break us!
