11.01.2022 Melissa Le Lay from Warwick West State School has shared some beautiful words in regards to our usual school visits in Rodeo Week. How wonderful it is to be able to visit school children, such a privilege for every Rodeo Queen! The impact of Rodeo Queens from an Educator’s Perspective Normally during rodeo week, entrants would travel to local schools. The whole school community dress up for the occasion, donning on jeans, hats and the best check shirts. Teachers and stud...ents are happy as they make their way out of the classroom into another world of dust, mud, bulls, broncs and country music. At my school, Rodeo Queens are often subjected to fun races on stick horses, line dancing, scoffing Tim Tams, wrestling fake snakes and Rodeo Game shows Trivia. However, there is always a silent hush as the Rodeo Queens tell their stories of failures, successes and determination. Students and Teachers hanging onto every word spoken from the glamorous crowned lady out the front. As we leave the parade area, us educators always hear stories about what the students have taken away from the parade. The boys often jostle about, bragging that they can beat any cowboy on the circuit. But more often than not, it’s the quiet little girl who is still in awe saying She was so pretty. Over the years, my reply to these little girls very rarely changes. Yes she is very pretty, but she is also very brave, courageous and is a hard worker. So Rodeo Queens, never doubt your presence and the influence you have when standing up in front of group of school children. There is always a little girl who looks up to you in awe as you tell your story of grit and persistence. Your stories lead to their dreams and setting their own goals for success. How lucky are my students to have had these 3 marvellous Rodeo Queens tell their stories in 2019. Who knows... that little girl in the third row, maybe our next Rodeo Queen. - Melissa Le Lay

As always, we were so impressed with the quality of products and the wonderful service. Clayton and Hayley really go the extra mile for all of their customers. Impressive reviews are coming from cowgirls and cowboys across the country about the new range of jeans, arena shirts, hats and boots at Circle L.
