20.01.2022 Today the women were playing for the Warwick RSL Memorial Club sponsored June Mid Week Medal. Also being played was the 9 hole competition ~ Congratulations to Lois for her win today. We have a small group of ladies planning to play every Wednesday at 1pm. There are plenty of spaces available at that time if you are looking for a game.



19.01.2022 We brought home 5 points for our Open Day Pennants today from Toowoomba (Middle Ridge) Open Day - coming a close 3rd now Anne and Kath missing from the pic Well played Mel and Janine for the team. The ear muffs and neck scarves were out for the blustery conditions!

09.01.2022 Wednesday’s Women’s Christmas Round up continues, with our presentations. The next competition contested was Qld Golf Foundation Brooch - also contested in 3 divisions. Div 1 - Margaret Adcock Div 2 - Helen Olsen Div 3 - Sharron Cooper... The International Bowl Pins, in 3 divisions went to Div 1 - Nachcha Craggs Div 2 - Annice Payne Div 3 - Roslyn Darton The eclectic, which is the addition of your best score on all 18 holes individually, to produce an aggregate score, which would be your best round if they had been played together on the same day Wednesday - A Grade - Jill Barnes 66 Gross/ 57.55nett B Grade - Majella Kahler 67 Gross/ 57 nett C Grade - Wendy Rhea 81 Gross/ 66.15 nett Saturday - A Grade - Jill Barnes 66 Gross/ 57.55 nett (very consistent Jill) B Grade - Helen Olsen 67 Gross/ 55.85 nett C Grade - Wendy Rhea 77 Gross/ 62.15 nett The next duty was to present Medal of Medalists kindly sponsored by Country Smiles Dental Services A big Thankyou to John & Kathy Payne. This was won by Kath Devereux, with a fantastic 65 nett, narrowly defeating Danielle Seibel who had 66 nett The last but not least was the Gobbles, this one is just a bit of fun, but is very hotly contested by many Mary Young had 13 gobbles, (a gobble is when the ball goes into the hole, from off the green), only just pipping Helen Olsen for the honour, who had 12. Well there ends our extra comps for 2020, congratulations to all of our winners, and we look forward to doing it all again in 2021, but hopefully not Covid Style, Saturday will be The Cherry Tree Coffee And Dining single Stableford, the last of our officially planned Saturday events. Then on Sunday, we will be contesting our annual Sudz at Warwick Laundromat Shootout. This is an awesome event, and whether you are a one hole wonder, or make it to the end around 7 hours later, be happy that you got to play the Game.
