The main cause of water egress and timber damage is due to the installer not priming or undercoating the unsealed bottom edge of the door. Most painters will not remove a door to paint the bottom edge. It is advised that you ensure your installer primes the bottom and all exposed edges so not void the warranty on your newly installed timber doors.
