25.01.2022 Fixtures for the s 1st to 4th XIs are up on MyCricket. 5ths to come next week. Giddy up, cricket’s nearly here

24.01.2022 Richie Benaud will love us, we’re currently ranked #22 in the Toyota Good For Cricket Raffle! A huge thanks to all who have supported us so far, it’s been an amazing response. And as much as we love Richie, we would love to get even better than 22, so please share to help the s put on a great show this season for our members and our community. SHARKS JOIN THE TOYOTA GOOD FOR CRICKET RAFFLE: OH WHAT A FEELING it would be to win one of these three magnificent Toyota cars in... the Good for Cricket Raffle! The Sharks have signed on to the raffle this season as a way of trying to raise some much needed funds for the club for the upcoming covid impacted 20/21 season. For as little as $5 (plus small admin fee) you could win one of three great Toyota Hybrid vehicles, the sporty RAV4 is top prize, with the Camry and Corolla as 2nd and 3rd prize. There’s also lots of other prizes including exclusive events with Aussie cricket legends, signed Aussie shirts and bats and much more. In these tough times, we are hoping to raise funds to help with the extra costs of running our Junior and Senior programs this season. With new covid-19 protocols requiring increased provision of individual equipment and hygiene for our facilities, as well as reduced capacity for revenue, we are hoping that our members can support this raffle and hopefully get lucky with some of the great prizes. Please check out the raffle website (https://toyotagoodforcricket.raffletix.com.au/washingtonpar) and if your current circumstances allow you the opportunity to spare a few dollars for some raffle tickets you’ll be helping out the Sharks provide for a safe and rewarding season ahead. The raffle is drawn on February 26th 2021 and all proceeds of the tickets got directly to the club. That’s good for cricket, and great for the Sharks.

01.01.2022 How good is this from Cricket Victoria!!! Our fabulous 's Junior Coordinator, Player, Women's team co-coach, sponsor, parent, volunteer and much much more, Ros Batson, stars in this great little interview. Joined by our great friend Penny from Carnegie CC, they've worked together brilliantly together to provide opportunities for girls to play cricket in our local community. And now Ros has helped to spearhead our Washington Park CC Women's side for season 20/21 to provide a great pathway for our AGCC girls players into CSB senior Women's cricket. At the Sharks we are delighted to have Ros on our team and developing our commitment to Girls and Women's cricket.
