To properly assist a victim these factors must be carefully explored and considered. * Spoiler alert * I have loved each and every Jane Harper book. As The Lost Man concluded and the characters' secrets were revealed I was taken on a journey of how domestic violence in remote outback Australia had made prisoners of its victims over multiple generations. She so artfully described subtleties of the abuse that were unique to her characters.
