21.01.2022 Last weekend we made our way to Kalgoorlie for the Annual WASM Guild Ball and Export Cup. It was a great weekend, full of memories and quality team bonding. Export Cup this year was a close competition ending with our Men's A team coming out on top. Our Men's B and Co-Ed team finished strong with positive results. Big thanks for the WASM Wombats Mining Team, alumni and fellow students for running the event and making our newbies super pump for internationals!

19.01.2022 Say G’day to your new executive committee! Ben (Vice President) Sherran (President) Lucas (Treasurer). We are all looking forward to a great season with the wallabies!
18.01.2022 Last week the Wallabies were invited to Kent street snr high to help out in the annual CoRE resources challenge! The day was a great success in many ways from teaching the younger students to Goldpan, explaining mining and the industry to the older highschool students as well as getting to know some of the old WASM grads. We’d like to specially thank Kathleen, for the invite to participate as well as Dean and Christian for the sound advice for our careers.
17.01.2022 On the 20th of March 2021, the WASM Wallabies travelled to rural Kalgoorlie to compete in the 2021 International Collegiate Mining Competition. The event was held virtually due to Covid with each team having their events recorded by the ever-committed WASM Alumni whom together with the WASM Wombats we would like to thank for their efforts in hosting and organizing this year’s event which proved to be a great weekend full of friendly competition and memories made. This all wou...ld not be possible if it was not for our generous sponsors who have supported us throughout the years especially during these tough times. With their support we are able to keep the mining games running each year and give students the opportunities to allow them to have a strong foundation for when they step into the industry. We will now be focusing our efforts on the next international competition in 2022 in hopes that we can build the WASM Wallabies to be the best club for students wishing to step into the mining sector. 08.01.2022 Although the Annual Intercollegiate Mining Games competition didn't go ahead this year, the Annual WASM Guild Ball and Export Cup certainly did. Last fortnight, the Wallabies headed to Kalgoorlie to take on the WASM Wombats Co-ed and Mens teams. It was another great weekend, where lots of memories were made. Export Cup was another close competition this year, with the Wombats Co-ed team taking first place, the Wallabies in a very close second, and the Wombats Men team hot on our tail in third. A big thank you to the WASM Wombats Mining Team and fellow helpers for hosting the competition once again.
