25.01.2022 REMINDER: Entries for this Saturday's Point2Point close tomorrow 4pm. Miss that deadline, and you'll have to wait until 2022 for your next P2P fix. We're also looking for some more volunteer officials for this one - so if you are able to help out, let us know.
24.01.2022 We caught up with Vaughn Brewer to discuss the Historic Touring Car's Trevor Roy Young Memorial and get a bit of history about the man who has his name on todays feature event. Spectators welcome in our park and view areas for just $5 per car plus you can check out the cars in the pit paddock area.
23.01.2022 Wet, windy and cold was probably the best way to describe the conditions at Wanneroo Raceway for the final round of the 2020 WA Sporting Car Club race season. With some championships wrapped up, but quite a few going down to the line it was always going to be a day of close racing, but with the weather reaching in and wanting to play, it made for a great day of racing action and a fantastic way to wrap up the 2020 race season. 23.01.2022 The Excel Cup cars have been out for qualifying and Jack Clohessy has taken pole position with Rob Landsmeer lining up on the front grid. Behind them is Tayla Dicker and Jake Passaris. Plenty of time to make your way up to Wanneroo Raceway and get a position track side with our $5 park and view areas.
22.01.2022 The WA Excel Cup category put on a fantastic show of racing over the year, eventual champion Rob Landsmeer is seen here overtaking Jack Clohessy who was in a battle with Cameron Atkins for 3rd place in the WA Sporting Car Club 2020 Championship. Cameron Atkins pipped Jack Clohessy by one point to secure third place for 2020 with Jake Passaris sitting comfortably in second. WA Excel Cup / Wanneroo Raceway
22.01.2022 The 2021 June race meet has been run and done! A very long day after some dusty driving and oil delays held up proceedings but the impromptu "Night Masters" 4 lap dashes at the end for the FSR WA, Historic Touring Cars, Improved Production Racing Association of WA, Street Car Racing Association of WA and Saloon Car Racing WA categories saw some hot action on track on a cold winters evening! Thank you to our officials new and existing, as well as the competitors and of course ...all the spectators that filled Turn 7 and lined Turn 1, 2 and the Esses quite nicely! Our next race meet is the Torque Trophy on July 4th with the Excel Cup Enduro also on the same day.

19.01.2022 The Formula Historic / Race cars are out on track for one last time in about an hour, the track has dried a bit but check out this photo from earlier today when the track was quite wet! The drivers of these museum pieces never hold back and race them just as hard, if not harder, than they would've been raced in the years gone by.

13.01.2022 After a successful return to racing in June 2020 from COVID-19 related restrictions, the WA Sporting Car Club’s season finale whilst welcome came too soon for most. With over 100 competitors and 7 championships to be decided at this meet, it was all eyes to the front of the grid as even the weather couldn’t interfere with the close racing and action provided by the talented feel of West Australian motorsport competitors. For motorsport fans, the close results show that for th...e most exciting on circuit racing there is no other place to be than trackside at Wanneroo Raceway for the 2021 WA Sporting Car Club series. https://www.wascc.com.au/brotherly-love-shines-on-season-e/ Motorsport Australia / Joondalup-Wanneroo Times/North Coast Times / The West Australian / PerthNow / HQ Racing WA / Saloon Car Racing WA / Street Car Racing Association of WA / WA Sports Sedan & Sports Car Association Inc / WA Formula Ford / Arise Racing / FSR WA / WA Excel Cup
