24.01.2022 Well with the Wanneroo 100 enduro rd run yesterday the 2019 race season is now over for us. Congradulations to our members who entered the event, Brett Niall, Neville Stewart, and Peter Callo. Our commiserations to Neville after comfortably leading the race until Lap 38 in the Porsche but unable to finish due to mechanical issues (brakes) and to Peter unable to start the 40 lap enduro, also due to also mechanical issues (gearbox). Congrats to Brett and Clint Harvey who finis...hed second overall. Congrats to all WASSSCA members who were able to get their cars out there this year In total we had 24 individual cars run through the season,18 Sports Sedans and 6 Sports Cars. If we all could get out there for the same event it would be a great field to see. Hopefully we can see everyone again plus a few more next season. Congratulations to our main Trophy winners Peter Callo in his Corvette who has taken out the main trophy for WASSSCAs Rockhard Cup as Outright Points winner for the club, and also as the Division 2 winner. With over 100 competitors and 7 championships to be decided at this meet, it was all eyes to the front of the grid as even the weather couldn’t interfere with the close racing and action provided by the talented feel of West Australian motorsport competitors. 17.01.2022 Hi All, I am reluctantly putting my FC RX7 Sports sedan up for sale. The car has Go-gear chassis and suspension, a extreme rotary NA 20B, a 6 speed sequential ...hollinger gear box, 2 sets of dragway 18 inch wheels and motec 800 ECU. The car was purchased from Selectmaz 2001. It was a Go-gear metal chassis with aluminium cage build number GG 91-07. I raced it 3 times before putting into a concrete barrier at Calder early 2002. The chassis was stuffed and was replaced with a new chrome molly chassis and cage from Go-gear. The chassis was modified by Centreline suspension to accommodate the hollinger box and toyota supra diff. ( Same running gear and set up as the "Silver Bullet." ) For various reasons it has taken untill recently to get the car back on the track. The car has fantastic potential and in the right hands would be a front runner at state and national level. I find I no longer have the talent or the finances to give justice to its potential. Anyone interested please let me know. Im looking for around $70,000.00 a fraction of the build price and value of the parts.

14.01.2022 One of the benefits of being a member of 2 associations is that this year I get to enjoy 2 sponsor nights. So we backed up Thursday nights shake down with a Fri...day night WA Sports Sedan & Sports Car Association Inc Sponsor night. We bolted in the passenger seat, fixed a few problems and turned up the boost. Again Tom from PZP was on hand with the laptop to make sure the engine was running sweet. The car ran really well and only at the end of the night we had a fuel pressure warning so we packed it up to look at during the week. We need to turn the brightness of the shift lights on the Motec dash down for night stuff as well. This Friday we have the sponsor night with the Street Car Racing Association of WA crew. I will post up the videos as I edit them.

Pretty much the loudest and closest to the superca...rs youll get at a local track. You can see the pride taken in these cars with well-presented cars such as the black and gold livery from Boland Motorsport. These cars are the ones that generally end up on two wheels, spitting fire as they head around Turn 1 at speed. Division 1 winner for 2019 was Grant Hill and Division 2 winner was Peter Callo who also took out the "RockHard Cup" for outright points winner. So any big changes this year? Let us know! 03.01.2022 Last night the Premier announced a lifting of restrictions as of midnight, Friday, 30 April. This will result in some changes to the conduct of the race meeting... on Saturday, 1 May. Namely, Face masks need not be worn outdoors. However, please carry a mask in case you need to enter a building as they will be required inside the Race Office, Race Control, Admin office and other indoor spaces. Drivers may have their full complement of pit crew. The restriction of 2 has been lifted. Spectators are welcome. Again we advise you to carry a mask in case social distancing is not possible or you wish to enter a building.
