23.01.2022 Even a broken watch is correct twice a day

22.01.2022 WATER AND WATCHES- a bad combination.The watch pictured was sold as a limited edition Premiership Watch, the reverse was etched with "30 metres water resistant". The owner understandably wore it for a dip in the ocean.The end result was a ruined movement,as the watch had sentimental value the unit was thoroughly cleaned and a new movement fitted.The hands and dial were saved although showing signs of pitting from the salt. The Swatch watch was able to be retrieved.Water Proof and water resistant are two different matters.Always seek advice and purchase the watch to suit the purpose

The name Swatch arose from the two words "Second Watch". The watches are totally sealed units and were never meant to be long term or serviced.The units were and still are highly successful, selling millions globally.The most expensive the "Kiki Picasso" sold for $22,600.00 dollars. The two watches pictured keep accurate time, the Chronograph is 21 years old and the Brown Swatch 24 years old. Sold under the Swatch banner are many high profile watches including Omega and Longines.
