24.01.2022 G’day everyone as some of you have already found out and posted to us or messaged us that the daycare building was on fire, it’s currently extinguished. No one was in either building and no one has been hurt all staff are fine as are the residents of blue hills. Darren and I are doing everything we can at this time and we will contact you ASAP. I’d also like to mention we are hoping to use a pool in the other retirement village which is 5 minutes from the current one.... 19.01.2022 Good evening everyone and hope you’ve all had a wonderful School holidays, we sure did! As term 4 is about to begin tomorrow at 4pm sharp we are very excited to see you all again! Please don’t forget that term fees are due before the commencement of your lessons, if there are any concerns or question with this please don’t hesitate to send us a message.... Exciting news for Monday and Tuesday as we have a new teacher on! Going to be a fun term as we head into summer and see out the rest of the year! 18.01.2022 It is with great sadness that I announce that there will be no swimming lessons with Water Warriors Swim School until further notice. We were unable to aquire another pool. I would like to thank Jodie and Louise from The Blue hills residents for the use of their pool over the past 6 years and Ron, Ken and May for their support.... Sharon , Marina and Mel. From Schoolies Central. It has been a fantastic journey from the Rebound leisure centre in Narre Warren in 2010 up till now. I have been honoured and humbled by the loyalty of many people who started with me back at Rebound, followed me to Blue hills and remained till today. Through the years I have taught so many people. It has been the most rewarding job to help replace fear with confidence and life saving skills. Watching the excitement of the children as they discover new skills and the pride in the parents eyes. Watching my own son Aaron deliver the service with the same passion made it even more enjoyable especially with his parent and child classes. Together a proud father and Son team! Thankyou to our teachers Jenny De Waal , Sam Keen and Jenna for their contribution of a great service. Olivia Pal for always assisting on Wednesday nights. A special thankyou to Resmi and everyone who recommended Water Warriors Swim School. There has been so many children with such big personalities over the years that made teaching an exciting experience. Quote; name of swimmer, day, time of class and teacher. Eg. Olivia.P Wednesday 5.30pm Darren.... You will need to enrol into the YMCA program. I do see this as an opportunity to access the amazing facilities and services they have to offer. Membership at Casey Arc includes access to all Casey YMCA Pools for recreational swim during opening hours. 14.01.2022 Hi Everyone Great News Swimming lessons start week commencing Monday 23 November. The term will run for 4 weeks ending Saturday 19 December. Payment of $48 per child is due prior to the first lesson.... Below are key points to ensure we stay safe and remain open: Class starting times will be staggered to ensure the traffic in and out of the centre is minimised Children must already be dressed for swimming upon arrival. Change rooms will only be available for toilet use An adult must escort a child to the front of the building a couple of minutes prior to the start of a lesson The entry door will be locked. A staff member will open the door and guide students to their lesson prior to commencement Strictly one adult/carer can attend their child’s lesson Children and carers will be required to leave via the rear exit door If you are waiting in the car for a lesson to finish, please be at the rear of the building before the completion of the lesson to collect your child (regardless of your child’s age) Ensure you leave promptly on completion of a lesson Note: You must sanitise your hands on entering the centre You must also wear a face mask if you are over 12 years old Ensure you follow the 1.5 meter apart social distancing requirements. 07.01.2022 Attention to all Thursday students Tomorrow the 20th of February there is to be a wedding in the chapel directly across from the pool building this will severely effect parking between 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm. As you drive towards the pool there is a large patch of grass on the right hand side, you may park your cars there when parking inevitably becomes full, we are sorry for any inconvenience during this time.... At the moment, we have not received an official start date, but expect September will be an exciting month for us all! Please be a little patient. As a former customer, you will be given an opportunity to redeem lessons you had previously paid for and reacquaint yourself with those high standards of teaching and service. You’ll also be invited to exclusively book for the upcoming term before we open the ...doors to new customers. Keep an eye out for further updates! 01.01.2022 Great news! With the recent easing of restrictions, we look forward to recommencing swimming lessons very soon. The health and wellbeing of the residents is paramount, as well as the health of the wider community in general. We have been very privileged to have access to such a great facility and are keen to restart with a Covid Safe Plan and cleaning schedule in place.... Please look out for my next update. My team and I at Water Warriors Swim School are passionate about teaching and are committed to continuing to offer a quality educational programme, at a competitive price. On a personal note, I can appreciate the many challenges and the ups and downs experienced throughout this Covid journey and the different ways of coping. I would like to share with you what helped me keep a positive attitude, whilst unable to run Water Warriors. I hope you enjoy the painting, as much as I enjoyed creating it.
