25.01.2022 What is the best parenting tip you have been told? Mine was if you have kids just add water! When they are tired, cranky or won’t stop crying run a bath and let them play.... When they are bored find a water activity for them to do outside in the fresh air. When mum or dad needs a break, grab a cuppa and let the kids have a play in bath for an hour with some fun kid tunes! This is a daily routine for us! A lovely friend of mine mentioned the idea of putting LEGO blocks in the bath for something different and it was a big hit this morning! Give it a go!

22.01.2022 Let’s celebrate Breastfeeding Week! I was very blessed to have the chance to breastfeed my first child for 10 months before having to weaning her to go back to work. I do remember being pregnant with her and feeling nervous about what to expect, wondering if it was something I could actually do and whether or not I would like it. For my second child who is due in November, I plan to breastfeed again and believe it will be a totally different experience to my first! I know a ...lot more these days! Not all mothers get the chance to breastfeed, some work, some can’t produce enough, some choose formula and sometimes things just don’t work out the way you plan. So shoutout to all the mothers out there that are able to continue breastfeeding as long as they want. And shoutout to the mother who tried, but could not succeed. And shoutout to the mothers who could not try or simply did not want too. You are all amazing, special and are wonderful mothers. HAPPY NATIONAL BREASTFEEDING WEEK

I love the first day of spring as it gives me hope that the weather is about to get better here in Australia and Summer is on it’s way! It will be interesting to see what Summer will look like this year with the affects of Covid. I just hope we can go to the beach, the parks, the playgrounds and enjoy the beautiful Australian sun!

It’s hard not to think about how much more advanced at swimming and water safety our children would be if Covid hadn’t struck. I like to use mine as a lightweight nappy bag and have nappies, wipes, a couple of sets of clothes (Still getting used to the boys wee everywhere part!) and my keys, wallet and phone. 05.01.2022 Let’s talk Wetbags! I love them! A friend bought me a couple of them as part of a baby shower gift for my first and prior to that I had never heard of them! Now I use them for everything! My hubby and I have a wetbag each in our cars that we use as nappy bags. ... I have one for snacks and water bottles that is always in my pram or handbag. I use them to put our wet clothes in after swimming as they are waterproof. I also have one in the childcare bag for wet and soiled clothes. 02.01.2022 Any other pregnant Mumma’s out there? How many weeks are you and what are you having? I am 29 weeks with a boy! It has definitely been a different pregnant from my daughter who was my first! Add lockdown on top of that and it will definitely make for great stories when he is older! I am very excited that he is a November baby and he will be able to experience the summer and the water! I am hoping he will love the water as much was my 2 year old does! ...
