24.01.2022 ALL ABOARD! Hey all, just a quick message to address this "Players Page" going on with the association atm for those that have heard of it. The position of our club is that we support the current board and association and would not like to be linked to the attempt to overthrow the board. If you have any concerns you would like me to raise with the association, I'd be happy to via the proper channels. We just like playing cricket, and 99% of the time the association does a great job considering it's volunteer. All of the accusations are baseless rumours by people not willing to put their names forward. I've posted to our Facebook page for those that want more details.

24.01.2022 2015/2016 Presentation Night tomorrow night @ The Lowlands Bowling Club. Kicks off at 6-6:30pm with some nibbles, followed by a burrito cookup on the BBQ. No cost except for whatever drinks you'd like to consume on the night. With it being the last night of daylight savings, should be some good fun with the barefoot bowls as well!

20.01.2022 Not looking good for cricket tomorrow If we are washed out, we will head to the pub at some point to watch the 2nd test and enjoy a few beers. Since those playing already had the arvo locked out, the pub is the next best option :)

19.01.2022 The roster for the season is now up on our website. Jump on and set your availability. For the first game of the season, it would be great if EVERY player can show up to the game if they are free. We have some new players so it would be good to introduce everyone and we will also be voting on the co-captains for the season! For the first home game of the season (hopefully Game 1), we will organise a BBQ after the game at the ground, so we encourage all players to stick around and bring their partners/family and have some fun with a kick of a footy or backyard cricket over a couple of beers.

17.01.2022 A big thank you must go out to Joel Kahler for his curation of Jesmond Park this season. Without Joel's dedication we would not have had the amazing pitches week in and week out. It was Joel's first time curating and he has done an exception job. Please come together in thanking Joel on his efforts season.

15.01.2022 ALL ABOARD SEASON 2016/2017!!!! Its time to start the yearly organising of teams for the upcoming season. With 2 months before Game 1, and only 1 month before rego's need to be submitted, we need to know who is coming back to play again so we can work out numbers for teams. If you have any mates that would like a run this year, let us know as well as we will definitely need some new recruits. To fill out a rego form:... - Jump on our website http://www.waterboardcricket.com.au - LOGIN if you are a past player (VERY IMPORTANT) - Click on the 'Rego Form' button on the home page - If past player, select your name from the list - Enter/Update your details.as necessary - Generate your Rego form - Print and Sign and return to us ASAP Registration this year has increased to $120/per player. Game fees remain at $10/game. (This increase is due to the fact we wont be getting the raffle books this year). GO WATERBOARD!

09.01.2022 Cricket is still on today, I repeat, cricket is still on today!!! We have been transferred indoors to the Duke Hotel with David Warner opening the batting for us. Game starts as normal at 1:30.

05.01.2022 It is turned out to be another sucessfull year for the Waterboard with both Teams making it into the finals. Unfortunatly the B3 team went down to Doyalson in the final last week. However, a hugh congratulations to Mick and the team for a great season!!! The season is still alive for the B2 team beating the Beaches Hotel in the semi final to progress straight through to the Grand Final this week. Again they will be going up against the Beaches Hotel. The Grand Final is set do...wn to be played at Lugar Park, Kotara South. If you are free come down and support our B2 team. Lets go Waterboard!!!!

04.01.2022 Great result for a great club this year with Mick and the boys claiming the major premiership in B3's, a strong showing from the B1's and we took out club championship small club!!!! Huge thanks to Pete for his amazing efforts organising the club as always and Em for her support. All aboard!!!!!
