23.01.2022 Finally some nice weather on the horizon With Stage 4 COVID restrictions in place this has given us the opportunity to complete all our greens renovation works early with no disruptions to golf. Stay safe and hopefully we will see you all soon.

19.01.2022 Course Update :- Our greens have recovered well after our greens renovations over the past 2 weeks with ideal weather conditions. COVID restrictions gave us the opportunity to renovate greens earlier than usual this year. Our aim was to reduce any disruptions to golf on your return. With the stage 4 restrictions being extended we now move on to dethatching our Tee complexes, removing the build up of any dead organic matter. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

We currently have a great career opportunity vacant for a 1st year apprentice to join our ground staff team in Knoxfield. We are seeking to apply a self-motivated and punctual apprentice willing to work full time which will include rostered on weekend work. Waterford Valley is a par 72, (6545 m) unique championship 18 hole golf course situated in Knoxfield. It has been designe...d with flexibility in its layout and provides a wide range of golfing challenges. The course is made up of Santa ana couch Tees and Fairways, G2 Bent grass greens, 63 bunkers and 11 lakes and wetlands. We are seeking an individual who: Is genuinely passionate about sports turf management and the game of golf Can demonstrate a desire to learn and excel in the turf industry; both at work and through their studies Enthusiastic and has a strong attention to detail Continued physical ability to perform manual tasks and enjoy working outdoors Has a drivers licence and own car/transport Responsibilities of the successful applicant will include: General golf course set up and upkeep of the Golf Course Mowing duties which will include: - Greens, Tees, Fairways and Roughs Raking bunkers and bunker maintenance Assist with fertiliser and chemical applications Irrigation Maintenance and repair Operation of Machinery and equipment To apply for this position, please submit a cover letter and resume via email to [email protected] Only successful applicants will be contacted.
